Tobias Blackwood was speechless. He asked, "What exactly did Gage Grant do wrong that you have to beat him like this?"
As soon as he heard that, Zachary Grant got so angry he swung the whip in his hand again.
Gage was extremely afraid of Zachary's whip. He shuddered on reflex, but the moment he saw Tobias sitting beside him, he suddenly wasn't afraid of anything.
"He cursed at Skylar Keating over the phone, made a girl cry, and then ignored her calls all night!" Zachary shot to his feet in anger, pointing the whip at Gage. "Have you lost your mind? What good does it do you to offend the Keating Family? Your old man here got chewed out by George Keating on the phone for a whole hour first thing this morning! All because of you, you little bastard!"
Tobias turned his head to look at Gage. "You cursed at a girl?"
