On the way to the mall, Ethan Hayes looked with frustration at Simon Lewis trailing behind him and Vivian York, unable to hold back a slight grimace as he pulled Vivian's arm and whispered, "Why is this guy coming along with us?"
"Hmm?" Vivian glanced back at Simon, who was walking not far behind with his hands in his pockets, and said amusingly to Ethan, "Shopping is more fun with more people."
He didn't really want to have fun with Simon.
Ethan curled his lips, turned his head away, and stayed silent.
Just one more turn and they'd reach the mall. Vivian looked up towards the mall entrance, only to find a crowd of people bustling about, along with occasional exclamations of surprise.
"Is there some event happening over there?" Vivian excitedly tugged Ethan's arm and asked him.
Ethan followed her gaze, squinted, and casually said, "Looks like there's a fountain set up at the mall entrance, and people are throwing coins into it."
