The thing about the doctrine of the order, was that it was built for men who had been conditioned to absorb damage and continue, for bodies that the Church could reinforce into something closer to weapons than people.

It was linear and forceful. Some would even call it simple, stupid and overcommitted. However, it was precisely this nature that made it so overwhelming and overbearing in true combat.
