Chapter 326 - Chapter 322 Robert's Heart

While Summerhall's banners were planted in the camp outside the city, Prince Linde himself had already arrived outside the Red Keep.

Although riding a dragon would allow him to reach King's Landing faster, it would be too ostentatious, more like showing off in front of King Robert, so he left Lava Dragon Nessario at Summerhall Castle and came to King's Landing with a team of Rangers from the Chosen Legion. Even the armor he wore was not the fallen knight armor, but the Golden Lion armor.

"Prince Linde, you look more like one of us Lannister with that outfit." At the main gate of the Red Keep, Jaime Lannister looked at Lynd, who had dismounted from his horse, and couldn't help but smile, saying.

Although their statuses were now vastly different, Jaime's attitude towards Lynd remained largely unchanged.

Lynd took off his helmet and handed it to an attendant, then smiled and said, "If you like it, I can have one made for you too."

Jaime shook his head and said, "I'll pass. If I wore your armor, I probably wouldn't even be able to walk normally."

Lynd smiled and turned to look at Eddard Stark, who was standing on the other side of the gate. Judging from his standing position, his relationship with Jaime must be very bad. Even when welcoming him, he was unwilling to stand too close, giving a momentary illusion of forcing people to choose sides.

"Long time no see, Lord Eddard." Lynd turned and walked up to Eddard Stark, taking the initiative to salute him.

Eddard Stark also bowed in return, "Long time no see, Prince Linde."

The other Small Council members standing beside Eddard came forward one after another to salute Lynd.

Even Renly, who was extremely disgusted and hostile towards Lynd, also smiled and acted very respectfully, saying, "I thought I could see your dragon, Prince Linde, and specially sent people to clear out the square outside the Red Keep, but you came on horseback. What a pity!"

Lynd looked at Renly and said, "I don't think His Majesty would want to see someone fly over the Red Keep on a dragon!"

"Let's not stay here. Let's go see His Majesty!" Eddard Stark was very worried about any conflict between Lynd and Renly, so he didn't give them a chance to continue talking, saying.

After speaking, he led Lynd into the Red Keep, and everyone followed. The group quickly arrived at the Hall of Affairs in the Prime Ministers Tower.

Robert Baratheon was already seated at one end of the long table. Perhaps because of Lynd, he was very sober today. If it had been before, he would have been dead drunk by now.

Although only a few years had passed, Robert had aged a lot, and compared to the last time he was in Highgarden, Robert was now much fatter. Sitting on the chair, he felt as if he would crush it, completely losing the heroic spirit he had when Lynd first saw him.
