Chapter 59 - Step 3:Obtaining Knowledge(4)

It had been a brief while since Amaris had made her proposal to Mason and went to continue her explanations about the cardinaes and so forth.

"So, the blue one belongs four main elements, the even bluer one belongs the deviant versions of those, red and yellow glowing one belong to powers that existed at the beginning of the creation of earth and after, the cyan one belongs to mystical beings or 'entities' as we like to call them, and the grey one belongs to..."

"Semi factor-based abilities or elements."

"Hm... okay. I mean understood the ideology behind the blue ones and cyan one, but the rest just bug me."

"Are you a... you know?"

"Am I what?"

"Slow person perha-"

"The heck do you mean???!"

"I understand everything you're the one who doesn't know how to explain what the heck she's talking about!"

"I would be offended, but... as slow and incapable and short and dull minded and weak and foolish and despicable and unreasonably confident and a poor planner and-"

"OKAY OKAY OKAY, I'm sorry can you pleeease-"

'Uhhh, my confidence is... defective...?'

"Please explain them to me again?"

Mason begged as a small moment of silence enveloped the air that surrounded him and he then frowned in thought that maybe Amaris was pissed about his insult, but...

'She hurt my feeling even worse. Unreasonably confident... how da-'

"And as I was saying... the gray glowing one represents the central cardinal point and the mixed one represents the forbidden cardinal elements."

Mason nodded in solemn understanding.

"Now, in you past life you may have heard of the word before like central district, central area, central blah blah blah."

Kian nodded again but with a slight smile on his face.

"Now you see in the cardinals there one that is said to have risen after the first Cardinal Entity war. And it was known as the central cardinals warrior group."

"These warriors were said to have had abilities similar to the mystical cardinals, but we all know that most of their abilities come from ancient sponsors or the old entities as the humans of this earth fancied them to be known as."

"These guys had abilities gear control, smoke manipulation, flesh manipulation, atom manipulation, light or shadow manipulation, and so much more."

"But that those just spund to be like the deviant forms of other elements don't you think."

"Yes, you spotted that detail out quite fast Mason. But you see these warriors have two things that differentiate them from all other cardinal warriors and do you know what that is?"

Mason sighed and squinted his eyes as he looked up the sky in silence fir a while.

"Ha ha ha. Okay, okay the two differences are in their aura and their abilities origin."

"But you said that cardinal aura differentiation is a common trait between us like how the light blue have a light blue aura, the dark blue guys have a dark blue aura, cyan have theirs and so on."

"Yes, you're right once again Mason. But do you know why their auras really differ from rest?"

"....."

"Its because of their aura can't be seen."

Mason's brows furrowed as he tilted his head to the left slightly as small frown etched itself onto his face.

"It cant be seen???"

"Even when I'm done with my second enlightment?"

"Yes, I'm afraid so Mason. For you see Central cardinal warriors are people who use two kinds of energy. One from the earth that your in now and one that has no connection at all to earth. And yet they don't even know what they possess."

"Then what is the other form of energy?"

"You see it is...."

After a few moments of talking, Mason then felt flat onto his back on the soft alien grass if this place.

Each blade of grass was made of cotton hence a blanket like feeling loomed over his backside as he then looked at if he had a load of thoughts tgat he was debating with.

After a while his eyes shot open and a smile stretched wildly across face as he then sat up again asked, "Hey Amaris!"

"Finally done day dreaming boy?"

"Yah yah forget about that I was asking if there's a specific rank i have reach inordinate to to see their aura?"

"No, unfortunately there is no rank of cardinal warrior that can see their aura."

Mason then opened his mouth to say, "Then what about-"

"Yes, even if your fully synchronised it'll still be an impossibility."

Mason's hopeful face soon drifted into an annoyed and sad one.

Mason who then realized that finding away to detect these so called central cardinals is gonna be a problem.

He then gestured with a few up and down waves of his hand at Amaris to continue her explanation.

"Don't fret Mason. Your a sharp one you'll find a way around it."

Mason still looked at the grass with a more wholesomely disappointed aura than lively one.

"Hahaha. Any ways do you know how the the origin of their abilities coordination works? Or differs?"

"...."

"Well Mason, you see their powers don't originate from the deviant of a deviant, but rather from a unique law of its own existence."

"Unique law?"

"Yes, a unique law. Its actually related to this thing you humans study so much and yet fail so badly ha ha ha. What-what was it called ag- ha ha ha. Oh... that thing makes me laugh so much all the time."

"Hm, are you talking about chemistry? No, it's gotta be math."

"Ah ha ha ha. No, boy its subject that starts with a p..."

Snap!

"Oh you mean physics."

Mason snapped as ge then confirmed her suspicion.

"Yes, its that one. Hu..... that was funny. Well then, as I was saying... its mostly centered around physics."

"Their abilities are in some cases support types, but note that these groups of people are the most dangerous as it is saud that their abilities can even partially intertwine with our own."

"Our?"

Mason mused.

"Yes, you see Mason there are a lot things that I can't tell you about myself or my husband right now."

Mason looked at the sky for a long moment as he then realised that this whole thing was not up to his level as he remembered the saying that goes, 'The higher you go the harder things get.'

But, 'That also means there'll be a lot more info that I'll be legible for so I'll just wait.'

Mason finished off as he then faintly smirked and looked into the sky once again.

"It seems you've grasped the concept of the situation, right?"

Mason nodded in response.

"Good, now then shall we go onto the details of the forbidden cardinal warriors... and a few perks about the cardinal basics that'll make a lot more quick for you and more entertaining for me?"

Mason then smiled a big and bright smile as he closed his eyes and said, "I'm way a head of you."
