KOLTON'S POV
FLASHBACK
I held my mum's diamond in my hand and looked at it. I impressed by how shiny and heavy it was. My mum always got expensive stuff from my dad. He also got me gifts like the new video game I always wanted.
I was in my mums bedroom looking at her jewelry. She and my dad had gone for a date tonight so I could move around her room freely.
I heard the front door click, I knew my mum was home. If she caught me I would be in trouble. I put down the jewelry and I tried to leave her room but my parents were already coming up the stairs.
As i peeked from the bedroom closet I saw my mother and my father.
"Look my wife has found out about us. She's not too happy and wants a divorce," my father said. "Wants custody of Keith."
"It's okay Henry I'll be here with you. We'll go through it together," she told him.
"Unfortunately, I won't be able to see you for a while not until I'm done with my wife," he told my mother.
