Third person POV
*( Aspen's mansion)*
It was midday, the sun was casting golden light across every surface the weather was great for a picnic or any out door activity, in Aspen's house you can hear lions roaring from time to time.
Aspen and Sylus were sitting opposite each other arguing non-stop, it's been an hour and the Sin Bound Chronicles sat on the table between them .
In Sylus mind, this shouldn't happen, everything that is going on now should not happen, it's just him facing the fact that everything he knew is about to change; no he doesn't want that,
" Listen Sylus, there is more you don't know, more they aren't telling you about " Aspen's voice brought him back to their conversation.
" you said you'll give Asta back as soon as I get here,where is he "
" are you even listening to yourself, is he the only thing you want to have when many more are at your disposal, don't you want to know what the other half of you is "
this made Sylus shut up, he was more annoyed than any other,
" you want your Asta back, fine " he said and opened the book to a specific page " this part reverses damages done by the book, you can read it and everything will be back to normal " he pushed the book in front of Sylus.
The guy looked at the page, the words in it was still the same as when he tried to read it earlier the whisper, the moving words, the same uncomfortable feeling but this time around it felt reversed.
the whisper were going backwards the words were coming into view rather than scattering the greed symbol at the back of his hand was glory just like how it did back at his school the wind pick up and the clear environment suddenly became a little foggy, Asta materialized in the mist .
He wasn't his usual cute small cat size his black fair was now deep blue he wasn't flooding either, he had a third eye on his forehead his normal red colored eyes now have a black ring around it.
He looked annoyed restless and panicked, looking around as if searching for something he saw Sylus and relaxed a little.
Sylus knew this form, that was Asta's fifth form, all the sins have seven forms, from the seventh which is the smallest to the first which is their true form, Asta now looks like a demon wolf, slightly bigger than a track, that was just his fifth form.
" where is he?" Asta asked Sylus.
" where is what, change your form " Sylus replied.
Asta instantly went back to his cat form," you didn't see anyone dressed like a butler with something like a clock chain " he said looking around.
" no I haven't seen anyone like that , you just disappear on me do you have any Idea how terrifying that was " Sylus spoke but Asta didn't pay attention to him .
" what did you do " Asta focused on Aspen, " Do you have any idea what you just did, how did you even do it"
" what's wrong Asta " Sylus questioned .
" now that thing is on the loose, how did you even break the seal" Asta shouted, his mind went to the book
" Asha wrote this book,....of course it must have been inside" he shock his head
" she will surely mess you up for what you have done ".
" Sylus shut your kitten up or I will " Aspen glared at Asta.
" Enough Asta let's go " Sylus move away from the room towards the exit Asta behind him, still glaring and Aspen.
" Sylus, If you truly want answers, then stop hiding behind your captain's shadow. Leave the hero's ranks. Take your little entourage and walk your own path. Read. Study. Learn to think without being told what to believe… or remain ignorant."
a long silent,
"the driver can take you back" Aspen said .
" no need " Asta responded. Shifting into his sixth form, his size is no different from the lions " let's go" Sylus got on top of him and the two went running through the trees at a superhuman speed.
They moved feather away from the mansion till it completely disappeared from their sight. Aspen stood at the gate watching them.
" is it okay to let him leave sir " his assistant, Ronnie, a young guy with a well built body, walked up to him, he was wearing a black trousers and a blue shirt with a black jacket, his boots were three inches thick while he head a glass tablet, basically everything bout him creamed tech energy .
" what must be done is already done, he is not ready for it but reality doesn't wait till you're ready " Aspen said, he tried to move inside but almost fell, Ronnie caught him in time .
" you okay sir" he asked .
" I think it's time to pay my sister a visit " Aspen responded.
" that isn't part of our plan don't you think it will affect the result somehow" Ronnie said,
" I know Ronnie, I'm not going to face her, I'll be close enough to regain what I've lost "
" she's gonna find out, she will gain her eyesight back ".
" I know , I will be long gone before she makes a move, I can not be like this and expect the plan to work smoothly" Aspen went in the table where the book was still there, but in seconds golden light consumed it and vanished
" let's go back to Albatrou " he said picking up his cane .
Ronnie disabled an illusion setting that has been on the entire time, the building, garden,lions and even the servants slowly disappeared, the land was left bare, it was all an illusion, all of it and Ronnie was in charge of it,
"Good work as always " Aspen praised him.
" no need , robotics is my thing" Ronnie responded.
" let's get back to the gang , I'll leave Sylus in her hands, after all she has been able to get to his good side " Aspen said before opening a gate out of thin air, the gate was oval and the surface was blue he walked through it.
Ronnie collected his gadgets and walked through the gates too, the gate disappeared just as it once came.
