Damien poured a fine cake mixture in a baking bowl and shaved it into the oven, what Sylus needed after a whole day without eating is something sweet to bring up his blood pressure and light for easy digestion.
He went ahead to make fruit juice too.
Asta stood at the door way staring at him, He still couldn't believe Damien of all people will agree to serve someone, years ago he would have been angry for having to be close to humans,
After some back and forth thoughts, he left.
Damien felt the eyes that was drilling holes inside him leaving, he looked at the door way and sure enough Asta was gone,
He sighed honestly he thought Asta would attack him any moment, for a creature that would do anything to gain his powers,he shouldn't let his grudge down.
Years ago, when the sin foundation was being established, he alone had to face countless meetings with the elders to decide whether he joins them or not.
Remembering the number of time he proofed himself and still he couldn't please them, still they made the group without him, casting him out without a second thought.
He was foolish to believe they would care if he proof himself enough, he was foolish to even think he was at fault, the elders in that world only wants things they can easily control, they wants to feel in charge of everything and everyone. Such greediness is disgusting even Asta won't stand that low.
Everyone knows there are only seven sins, Lady Asha back then didn't want him to leave alone, but Damian with his now evil plan to take the cities out of the hands of the elders left, his anger caused him to crash out.
Although he didn't get to his goal, he scared them enough, he showed them what he could do, till they had no choice but to leave him in the hands of Lady Asha, those people don't have what it takes to be called elders.
He sat down and took the Sinbound Chronicles, the more he thinks of it the more it seems lady Asha is on his side, the book contains a lot of seal braking incantations, many many of them, even the ones to remove the seal on his eye, it's almost like she wrote the book for him to find.
That could be why she agreed to seal him so early, and didn't say anything when Sylus chose to tame Asta knowing well I would get a master too, knowing well I will get the book, knowing well I will gain an upper hand against Asta and the others,
' Did she think it was unfair for him, or was she just .....'
He flipped the pages on and on
' My Lady, is you made this for me, let me know, show me something..... anything '
He closed the book. I would never understand her ways, making someone like me question her thoughts.
The oven dinged he started to set the table.
Asta was on top of the curtain staring down at Damian, he saw the table with all the food he set and smirked,
" are you planning on spoiling him" he jumped.
" he should be, is he not our master and a member of the kings "
"Brother, wake the master as you pass. He has but an hour before his departure, yet he has neither taken a meal nor completed the contract with me." he added
Asta rolled his eyes, " what right do you have to order me around " he was going to wake him up but now he wouldn't.
He went upstairs and into Sylus room jumped on his bed and sat on his chest looking at his face, deciding either to slap him or just let him wake up anytime he wants
Sylus woke to see Asta looking furious.
He sat up felling his energy stabilized " what happened "
" get up and get ready to be pampered "
" is that guy still here"
Asta stopped in his tracks, turned back to the bed," we need to talk .....about him"
" luckily you understand situations faster than normal..... although you won't want it"
Asta gave a long sigh.
For twenty minutes he explained why Damian is now needed and what he wanted to do plus what they must do.
" wait , you mean to tell me , he has half our bonding contract "
" yes"
" and there's no way I can go to Albatrou with a half contract even though I have both halves "

" and I need to form a full bond with both of you ?"
" yes!"

" YES!!, IDIOT!! did you not hear any of what I said "

They were distracted by a knock on the door.
Sylus slapped his hands on Asta's mouth.
" quite maybe he would leave if he thinks no one is here "
Asta freed himself " did you loss your brain somehow "
The door opened slightly and Damian peeked his head, upon seeing Sylus he entered.
" you said he doesn't want any harm right " Sylus whispered.
" you know he can hear you right " Asta shot back.
"Master" Damian acknowledged
"You have scarcely an hour before your departure. I have prepared a light meal to sustain you come, let us make our way downstairs."
" whaaaaaat" he exclaimed.
" why is he talking like that" he asked with he shrugged .
"I realize my earlier manner of speaking was unbecoming. I have since corrected myself, and I trust you will permit me to continue addressing you in this manner, for it is the one most befitting you."
" Oh!" Not to lie, Sylus has a feeling he would enjoy this.
" Damian?"
" yes master "
" wait for me outside "
" yes master " he went outside.
When when he went out Sylus and Asta Started at the door in shock.
"Keeping him till lady Asha solve this is going to be way too easy " they both said still looking at the door.
