Hades truly lived up to his reputation as the clear-headed one among the Olympus pantheon. Although he might not fully understand the essence and origin of the Speed Force, he instinctively recognized the unusual nature of this energy and intended to seize it first.
Currently, in the entire Universe, Barry Allen was the only one using the Speed Force for the time being; other speedsters were mostly scattered across different times and spaces.
Barry had just acquired the Speed Force at this time, and his mastery of this power was far from mature, making it the easiest time to strike.
While Dane was deep in thought, Hespera suddenly broke free from his control. She pushed him, and the force of nature created a massive repulsion that sent him flying.
Behind Dane, a Kryptonian was waiting, seemingly intending to ambush him.
But Dane twisted his hand back, grabbing the Kryptonian's head.
Then he twisted forcefully, and the air swirled around the Kryptonian's head as his neck was broken by Dane.
He had realized from the beginning that the souls of these Kryptonians had already signed a contract with Hades, so Dane couldn't collect them, only watching helplessly as their souls drifted away.
He didn't know what method Hades used, but he knew that the other party definitely had a way to mass-clone the bodies of these Kryptonians, making them seem unkillable.
Each time a batch died, they would take a turn in Hades's Underworld and then immediately reappear in the human realm.
This was truly playing dirty; strictly speaking, Hades's actions violated the rules.
The ones previously exiled to the Phantom Zone were one thing, but bringing back those who had died once was perhaps a bit much?
So he started to fight unfairly, pulling out the Kiss of Death.
When facing Zod, because the disparity between them was too great, this weapon had no opportunity to be used.
But now, facing the swarm tactics of these Kryptonians, Dane decided to reactivate this divine artifact.
These Kryptonians hadn't yet realized the gravity of the situation; they still thought the black spike in Dane's hand was just a conventional weapon.
But when the first victim was stabbed to Death, the others no longer thought so.
Too fast; the killing effect of this weapon was too fast and too astonishing.
Even if the stab wasn't in a vital area, the Kryptonians still fell to the ground like dumplings, becoming corpses.
Hespera seemed to realize something and quickly ordered all the Kryptonian Soldiers to retreat.
"That weapon is imbued with the aura of Death; everyone retreat quickly!"
She had been granted a portion of the Underworld's power by Hades, so she still had some discerning ability.
Although the Kryptonians retreated at her command, Dane relentlessly pursued them like a Shadow.
Against Kryptonians, whose magic resistance was not particularly strong, the Kiss of Death was simply a scythe for cutting grass.
Dane felt that even Kryptonite wasn't as effective as this thing.
In less than a quarter of an hour, the Kryptonian Soldiers who had previously been able to contend with Dane for a while were all cleanly dispatched by him.
He flicked the blood-stained Kiss of Death and aimed it at Hespera.
"Will you come willingly, or shall I make you?"
Hespera, of course, chose to resist; even if she had wanted to surrender, the Sins possessing her would never allow her to do so.
Hespera raised both hands, activating the force of nature, and the surrounding atmosphere was rapidly drawn in and compressed by her.
Dane instantly felt the air pressure from all directions; the surrounding atmosphere quickly converged around him, becoming his cage, attempting to trap him to Death inside.
Dane exerted force with his limbs, spreading them outwards, and lightning surged from his body, instantly piercing through the air.
He immediately broke free from the atmospheric pressure and flew towards Hespera.
A third eye suddenly opened on Hespera's forehead—it was the demonic eye of Sin, which radiated an eerie magical power towards Dane, which he dodged by shifting his body.
But at the same time, Hespera suddenly opened her mouth and exhaled a stream of ghostly blue flames—that was Underworld Fire.
She fully expected Dane to at least dodge, but to her surprise, Dane showed no intention of dodging, simply opening his mouth and sucking the flames into his body.
He was the God of Death; what did he have to fear from Underworld Fire?
By this time, Dane had approached Hespera and was about to treat her as he had treated her other sisters, imprisoning her along with the Sins within her.
But before his hand could touch Hespera, it was slapped away by a Talon that suddenly emerged from within her.
The Sin of "Wrath" "grew" out of her body, as ugly as the stone statue that had once imprisoned it.
"I thought you'd be a bit more refined."
Dane said, smiling at Hespera.
But Hespera ignored him, as more monsters, Arrogance, Sloth, and Gluttony, continued to emerge from her, roaring at Dane.
"Dane Davis!"
They directly called out Shazam's true name.
Dane stretched out his hand, firing lightning, and at the same time, lightning rays shot from his eyes, piercing through the bodies of several Sins.
However, their bodies were entirely composed of magic, so this kind of damage was completely harmless to them.
But upon being attacked, the four Sins did not counterattack immediately; instead, they flew off in four different directions, intending to first absorb a wave of human Sin and then replenish themselves.
No matter how powerful Shazam was, could he split himself to deal with them?
Dane, of course, would not choose the Shadow Clone Jutsu; although he knew it, clone magic would divide his divine power into four, which was not worth it at all.
"Cortana, have you set up the Dream World in Central City?"
"It has been set up."
Using a mobile receiver to cast Dream World magic was truly effective; with Cortana's processing speed, she could cover the entire city with the Dream World almost instantly.
"Then separate the World we are in from the Real World!"
In a city with no people, how would they absorb Sin?
When the four Sins entered Central City, they suddenly discovered that there wasn't a single person in the entire city.
"Damn it! This city has been sealed off by him!"
The four Sins realized this situation and quickly flew back.
They couldn't stay away from their host for too long, otherwise, their power would rapidly decline in this uninhabited city.
Meanwhile, high in the sky, Dane and Hespera had clashed again.
Due to the temporary departure of the four great Sins, she regained some self-awareness.
"I actually lost my mind to such things…"
Honestly, Hespera looked down on things like the seven deadly sins, but she wasn't as resolute as she thought, failing to resist the Sins' invasion of her heart just like ordinary humans.
Dane chuckled at her words.
"I don't know where you get your confidence from; throughout the history of Western mythology, the Olympian Gods are the ones with the most selfish desires."
It was one thing to be with their brothers and sisters; most gods were like that, but to mess around with their children, and even grandchildren… some guys didn't even care about the species, which was just absurd.
Dane shook his head; these gods were practically like beasts. As long as there was a bit of beauty, they didn't care about the other party's identity, kinship, or even species barriers.
Although Dane didn't say it explicitly, Hespera understood his unspoken meaning. Her face immediately darkened; this trend, after all, was started by Zeus.
But discussing this now was meaningless; Hespera still wanted to struggle, but Dane was no longer going to give her that chance.
He was already quite satisfied to have drawn out two main god-level deities; now was the time to collect the spoils.
Once Dane chose to no longer hold back, Hespera's current power was simply unable to resist, even with the added power of Sin.
She was constantly struck down from the sky by Dane, enduring his heavy punches every moment.
Dane had no concept of cherishing beauty; every punch seemed aimed at the opponent's vital points.
The sound of punching echoed throughout Central City. Under Dane's continuous barrage of punches, Hespera's armor was already damaged.
Seeing Hespera's miserable state, the four great Sins rushed forward to help, jointly attacking Dane with magic.
Evil magic poured onto Dane all at once.
But even so, they were still being beaten down by Dane.
Their bodies were light as air in Dane's hands; each throw could easily destroy a building.
Sins are rooted in the human heart, so they cannot be completely killed.
Therefore, Dane did not use the Kiss of Death, but instead used the combined positive energies of Zeus's divine power and the Sun God's divine power to torment them, consuming their magic.
The weather in the sky churned with wind and clouds due to the surging divine power, with lightning snakes poised to strike, creating a dangerous feeling of dark clouds pressing down on the city.
The Sins eventually retreated back into Hespera's body, unable to bear it any longer.
Seeing that the time was ripe, Dane struck Hespera with the largest lightning bolt he had ever unleashed since becoming Shazam.
The lightning divine power instantly invaded her body, wantonly destroying the four Sins within.
And this time, due to the lack of Sin absorption, they had no power to resist.
Hespera temporarily lost consciousness under the lightning strike.
Dane also put magic-restricting handcuffs on her, thus completing the collection of the seven deadly sins.
But just at this moment, Dane heard some bad news.
"Dane, Wonder Woman, Superman, and Green Lantern, the three of them are missing!"
Dane immediately frowned. He asked Cortana to display the scene from that time, and his eyes narrowed when he saw the gaping maw in the void.
