To accompany her, Kellan took the next two days off. The staff was given a vacation for those 48 hours. Butterfly Villa held only her and Kellan. He pampered her. Spoiled her, really. He cooked her favorite foods. Massaged her shoulders, her thighs, her feet.
She did the same for him. She wanted him to feel her love for him. But Kellan was Kellan. Obsessed. Possessive. Insecure. Though ... maybe not as much. Maybe slightly less worried about her leaving him.
Progress was progress.
On the third day, Kellan woke her early by nibbling on her throat. When her eyes opened, he kissed her hungrily.
"Kellan, are you not tired of me yet?" she teased.
He paused from her shoulder and met her gaze. "Never," he promised fervantly. "Never."
Then he spent the next hour showing her the depth of his devotion. So much so that by the time he was finished, her thighs felt like jelly and her waist ached.
