Cane's POV
I stormed through the office like a man on fire.
People said good morning. I didn't answer. I didn't even look at them. My shoes hit the floor hard. My jaw was tight. My hands were fists.
I shoved my office door open and slammed it so loud the walls shook.
What a rotten morning. Actually, what a rotten two days and it was all because of that stu....that Stephanie.
I let her come back into my house, into my life, and now everything feels wrong. It's been two days. Just two days and I'm already losing my mind.
I stood behind my desk breathing hard, trying to calm down but the dream hit me again.
Her naked body under me. How her legs wrapped around my waist. Her voice moaning my name while I moved inside her.
My blood started boiling all over again. I threw my bag on the desk, hard. Everything inside spilled out. Pens rolled. Papers flew. My laptop hit the floor with a thud.
