Chapter 660 - Organization

The change began on the same day the land was purified, but it was the following morning that it truly took shape. When I left the mansion, it was no longer just a different feeling in the air. The village was in motion, but it was not the same disorganized movement as before. There was expectation, there was attention, and most importantly… there was direction.

I found the village master in the center, organizing a few groups of workers. He still was not doing everything correctly, but he was no longer lost. That alone was already progress.

"You started early," I said as I approached.

He gave a slight smile.

"If I wait, nothing changes."

"Good answer."

Lyannis approached soon after, holding a few papers in her hands.

"I already made a basic outline for financial organization."

I looked at her.

"Show me."

She opened the improvised records she had prepared.

"First, everything that comes in and goes out needs to be recorded. No exceptions. Second, we're going to separate resources by function. Planting, maintenance, and reserves."

The village master watched attentively.

"Reserves?"

"Yes," Lyannis answered. "If you spend everything you produce, you'll never grow."

He slowly nodded.

"That makes sense."

Scarlett appeared beside us, watching the movement around her.

"And what about their work?"

"That's the next step," I replied.

I walked to a more open area and observed the groups. There was still disorganization, but it was no longer total. Some people waited for instructions, others tried to maintain the old rhythm.

"Gather everyone again," I asked the master.

This time, he did not hesitate.

Before long, the villagers had gathered once more. Unlike the previous day, there was not as much resistance. There were still doubts, but now there was curiosity too.

I stepped forward.

"The land issue has been resolved."

A few murmurs arose.

"Now the problem is something else."

I looked directly at everyone.

"You work… but you don't work together. That ends today."

Silence.

"From now on, no one decides alone what to plant or when to harvest. Everything goes through a system."

Lyannis stepped forward.

"We're going to divide functions. Each group will have a specific responsibility."

She began explaining directly. Who would take care of planting, who would organize the harvest, who would be responsible for records.

At first, some looked confused. That was expected. They had never worked this way before.

Elara observed the dynamic.

"They're not used to following structure."

"They'll get used to it," I replied.

Vespera crossed her arms.

"Or they'll fail."

"They won't."

Rai'kanna looked at me.

"You're confident."

"I've seen this before."

I continued the explanation.

"You don't need to work more. You need to work better."

The older man from the previous day raised his hand.

"And if it doesn't work?"

I looked at him.

"Then we adjust. But the way things are now… doesn't work."

He remained silent.

"You have potential. But you're wasting it."

The village master stepped forward.

"We'll follow this."

That made a difference. It was not only my decision. It was confirmation from someone they already knew.

Little by little, the meeting ended, and the groups began organizing themselves. There were still mistakes, there were still doubts, but for the first time there was a real attempt at change.

I spent the rest of the day closely monitoring everything. Correcting, adjusting, observing. Lyannis handled the financial side with precision. Elara helped maintain balanced workflow. Scarlett observed and intervened when necessary. Vespera stayed alert for any major problem. Rai'kanna helped maintain order whenever someone hesitated. Liriel, even after the effort from the previous day, remained present, observing the effects of the purification.

Time passed quickly.

When the sun began to set, the village was no longer the same as when I had arrived. It was not perfect. It was still far from that. But there was a foundation.

And that changed everything.

The village master approached me at the end of the day.

"Today yielded more."

"I noticed."

"It wasn't much… but it was better."

"That's already a beginning."

He looked around.

"I've never seen this happen here before."

"Then get used to it."

He let out a small laugh.

"I'll try."

Lyannis approached.

"If they keep this up for a week, we'll already see a real difference."

"Then we'll maintain it," I replied.

Scarlett crossed her arms.

"Now it's getting truly interesting."

Elara nodded.

"The system is working."

Vespera looked at me.

"For now."

"That's enough."

Rai'kanna gave a slight smile.

"You made them move."

"I only showed them the path."

Before returning to the mansion, I stopped for a moment and looked at the village once again. The people were still working, but now there was rhythm. It was no longer scattered effort.

It was something coordinated.

That was the difference between surviving and growing.

I took a deep breath.

The foundation was ready.

Now… it was only a matter of time.

And I was going to make sure that time was used well.
