"Huh? So this is where you all were. Hiding from the ratfolk like some cowards."
Allucard chuckled with a mocking smile on his face when he saw the ghouls appear in front of him. They were all sporting injuries on their bodies. Allucard hypothesized that these injuries must have been a result of them being attacked by the ratfolks.
One of the ghouls stepped up and spoke to Allucard.
"Now do you believe us? We weren't the ones responsible for the attack that took place last night. It was the ratfolks. They suddenly turned rabid out of nowhere."
With evidence like this, Allucard couldn't refute their claims since he had witnessed how vile the ratfolk turned for himself. He saw the monstrosity they became, but his instincts and overly cautious personality caused him to second guess everything he saw.
