As an only child, Nolan had everything he could wish for. He always had the full attention of his parents. He never had to share anything with anyone else. Of course, he was the only heir.
However, the downside was that he had to grow up alone.
"Did you like my gift?" Nolan asked as he watched the young boy go through the boxes that his assistant had placed on a table near his bed.
In a way, he had always wondered what it would be like to have a sibling as his eyes studied the boy's reaction.
A sister to fight over the last piece of cupcake that his Mom loved to bake, or a brother to wrestle with over nothing and everything. But unfortunately, his parents only have him.
"If you don't like it, Jonah, I can always get you another." Nolan had no idea what kids liked nowadays. He had only asked his assistant to buy the latest in the store. Maybe if he had a younger brother, he would know.
