I pretended I didn't hear him.
The moment I recognized Mo Yuzhen's voice, I quickened my pace and headed straight toward the studio entrance. The last thing I needed was another troublesome man, someone I hated and despised from the bottom of my heart, circling my life.
But of course, trouble had long legs.
He caught up to me in three steps. "Have I offended you?" he asked, leaning slightly forward as if trying to see my face. "Why do you always ignore me?"
I kept walking.
Mo Yuzhen reacted exactly as expected. His smile grew wider, like he found my silence entertaining.
"Tsk." He clicked his tongue playfully. "Miss Tang, even after knowing our relationship, you're ignoring me? Should I call you clever for successfully catching my attention… or a fool for being so arrogant and not grabbing the chance I'm giving you?"
That actually made me stop. I turned to him slowly. "We have no relationship whatsoever."
His brows lifted playfully. "But I'm your boss."
