Raven's POV
I knew it was coming. One way or another, I knew Lucian was going to come for me. But honestly, I didn't expect him to show up this fast. I thought I might have a little time before the storm hit—before he found out about me pretending to be Tyler's girlfriend.
Yes, I knew Lucian wouldn't be happy with the idea of me insinuating Tyler was my boyfriend. Hell, that's an understatement. He was livid. Furious. And honestly, part of me wouldn't be surprised if he snapped my neck right then and there.
So what actually happened? Tyler and I left the scene with me holding onto his arm like a normal couple would do. I could tell he was happy from the way his lips never stopped smiling. He was giddy, practically glowing. He was grinning like an idiot, but as I walked beside him, the happiness slowly started to feel like a burden. I started to think about why I didn't like him in the first place.
