Roy unconsciously took a step back when he saw the hand peer out from the gate.
And then, a skinny bipedal creature of over six feet with ash-white skin, pointed ears, a hunched back, and red-black eyes stepped out of the gate.
The upright creature's limbs were longer than usual, with its claws almost touching the ground.
'I just woke up a minute ago, for screaming out loud. Is that… a monster, or an undead?' Roy's mind was fully alert. Every ounce of sleep had been washed away from his psyche.
"That is a Strange Undead… the White Ghoul," Master Abraham said, answering the thoughts of those present with an expression that was both calm and serious.
"Undead…" Roy could hardly believe his ears.
The abyss creature raised its shoulders slightly and moved awkwardly, raising its head to the sky and opening its mouth to reveal a set of sharp, bloodied, yellow teeth. A long black tongue extended out from its mouth and tasted the air, moving as though it was alive on its own.
