Master Abraham didn't run as fast as he usually did, but Roy still had to hasten his running steps to the max to keep up.
"Master, slow down!" Roy pleaded. He was only a second away from hanging onto Abraham like a cape, flying with the wind but never touching the ground.
Master Abe glanced at him and figured fighting the abyss creatures with Roy this way wouldn't work out, so he listened and slowed down.
"Strike right below the nape. Any short and they won't die," Master Abraham said, holding his chainsword backward like a dagger with his left hand.
At the forefront of the undead horde coming at them were a pack of severely injured and rotting abysshounds, which Roy recognized as Veinback Rippers.
Suddenly, Roy had an idea. 'Will that work? I should give it a try.'
"Greymane!"
As he called out, his loyal companion materialized beside him as a blue wireframe before fully assuming form and running alongside them.
"Go!"
"Grrrrr!"
