It just seemed useless to do it now. The Healing Hand and Fire of Purification are also SS-Rank. When he used it on Ryu Jinmu, they still proved to be useful. Even when the Neo Phoenix, an SS-Rank monster, used a curse-type attack, it still worked.
Well, the novel did mention that it was more on the weaker side of SS-Rank monsters, but if it works, then no need to upgrade them.
