It was a stormy night.
Rain clouds covered the once starry sky while thunder filled the sky, giving a thundering sound. While a house was sitting in the storm, some of its walls were overgrown while a car sits idly dust had shown how long it had never been used. While inside was quiet, no sound was all except from the sound of boiling water originating from the kitchen.
After a few moments or minutes outcomes Sakari, holding a cup noodle clutching it with her hand, she slowly headed towards the sofa near the door, its windows displaying the current weather outside. Grabbing a pair of chopsticks, she uses it to consume her cup noodles little by little and instinctively grabbing her phone on the glass table.
She begins doom scrolling on a familiar website or application, until she stops and messages her mom.
She hasn't responded yet since.... a month or so
I just want her to respond....
After setting her messages to her mother, and eating her noodles, Sakari began to think about her predicament, why did both of her parents never reply and miss them both very deary. Remembering a memory from years ago.
"Don't worry you will be fine sweety... you already know how to take care of the house.... don't worry we will send you supplies often"
And yes, money keeps flowing keeping everything afloat; bills are accounted for, living a good life. But it is a "good life", is like that, she ponders that in her mind.
Even though... I have everything.... Why won't you just come back or respond to me getting more distant each week or month....
Pondering on that thought while staying completely still on the sofa, looking detached to the world outside her mind. Before regaining control of her body and view on reality, upon realizing that her eyes had grown weary. Standing up looking at the storm outside, still storming loudly, she left the sofa and threw the cup in the bin, heading to her bedroom. Opening the door, it creaks for a little, having an ivory color, eventually closing back the door, dressing for the night and tumbles onto the bed.
Staring at the white ceiling and a fan mounted against the ceiling, for some time she can't divert her thoughts chaotic in her mind.
Ugh.... Just when I'm about to sleep....
Turning her head to her phone on the cabinet she reaches for the phone and begins scrolling on the same website or application just moments ago, until she maybe falls asleep. Yet it didn't work no matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't.
Eventually the clock struck 12, upon seeing this Sakari became shocked at what time it is now.
Fuh... it's already 12 o'clock in night. I need to sleep before going to school.
She then tossed her phone aside and began settling herself again on the bed, yet even when relaxing her body, she couldn't rest. As she stared at the ceiling, the clock still moved, and the storm outside slowly came to a halt.
Eventually when the storm ended and the clock struck 12:30, she had fallen asleep on the bed into a deep dream. As the alarm clock is set to 6 in the morning, and the silent snores of her sleeping peacefully, but knowing the alarm would surely ring.
