Beep beep beep!
Ugh... my brain stings !, w-was it because I stayed up all night playing...
Oh, yeah... today is the first day of school!

I slammed it silently and dragged myself out of bed. I swung my legs off the bed, the carpet warm under my toes. For a second, I just sat there half awake, wishing I could stay in that dream where life didn't start at 6 A.M. Sunlight tried to slip through the heavy curtains, and I pulled them open and squinted as the room filled with light.
My hand instinctively reached for the books laid out on the shelf and stuffed them, along with the essentials, inside my black backpack, then placed it near my bed. I then prepared to take a shower and went into the bathroom next door.

The door goes
I walked into my bathroom; it has this pristine white color. Then I stripped down, placed my clothes, getting rid of all the crust and muck built up in my body.
Once I finished, I wrapped my towel around my waist and headed out of the bathroom to the bedroom. I quickly opened my wardrobe and took out my school uniform, a standard white buttoned shirt with light blue shorts.
I buttoned my uniform, then a voice could be heard originating from downstairs.
"Breakfast is ready!" Said my mother
Then I followed that voice, stepping through the flight of stairs whilst gripping the railing on the stairs. Finally, I saw my mother, father, and little sister at the dinner table, consuming their own food. Ranging from fried rice to rendang, or even like my father, of sat at the front of the dinner table.
I took a seat at the dinner table, I grabbed my plate of fried rice and my utensils, putting the delicious food into my mouth, relishing the warm taste of it.
My mother glances at me, relishing her dish, and speaks.
"Is it good ?" With a smile on her face.
I replied to her words with, "Yup."
After relishing and consuming my dish served warm, I get my backpack, putting it on my shoulders. Then made my way towards the front door created by mahogany wood. Summer felt so short, tasting this fried rice felt like the last taste of freedom and summer break.
The sound of a car starting up can be heard on the terrace. Then I saw my father in the driver's seat of the car.
"Get in, kids !" Whilst pressing the car horns
Beep beep!
My siblings open the door of our white Honda, followed by me and sit with me in the passenger seat. Then the car drove out of the driveway into the roads of our neighborhood.
From the window, I saw my mother waving her hands as if saying goodbye. I replied with a smile towards my mother whilst inside the car, as the car slowly gets farther away with every passing minute.
This new school, from what I heard, is not too far from my house, just a 5-minute drive.
I saw from my car window, scenery passing by, from the small alleyways to the busy intersections, but it was a short ride from the beginning.
The car stopped in front of my new school. Students rushed past the gates, their laughter echoing through the morning air.
