"You are asking me what a Gift is?"
Ron sat reading the newspaper on the sofa when he suddenly heard Quân's words.
Quân nodded, he looked into Ron's eyes with a spark of interest in his own eyes and spoke.
"Correct, I heard that you obtained a Gift, Moris said so."
Hearing the word Moris, Ron immediately let out a sigh, he placed the newspaper down on the table then thought.
"Actually, a Gift is like a Path, yet even more not.
It is something closer, yet more objective. To tell you the truth, I do not understand anything about it either."
"Ha, then what is your Gift?"
"My Gift... It is truly hard to say. Because I have not even used it for a second time yet."
"Then? The first time?"
Ron placed his hand on his chin, seriously recalling the past.
"The first time? It seems at that moment I guessed that my Gift was..."
...
Crack snap~
Shredding sounds like noises tearing straight into the ears of the young girl.
It did not stop but just gradually grew quieter, yet feeling as though it was always near her.
That creaking sound heard like a broken door trying to close.
...
Malley jolted awake in panic, she held her head and buried her face into the corner of the wall.
Her voiceless screams felt as if they were pinned at the tip of her tongue, like a needle piercing her entire oral cavity.
Her throat was dry and parched, but she felt it was not completely empty, blood, blood had coagulated in her throat.
She struggled unconsciously then fell off the bed, trying to reach for the small boy lying before her eyes.
But then, her tears choked up again, each teardrop like turning into crystal, stabbing straight into her cornea without flowing out.

The door of the hospital room was opened, she could vaguely see within the blurry dark grey sunlight appeared a prominent silhouette with silver white clothing and golden eyes.
"I heard a noise, perhaps you have already woken up, if—"
Right as Ron walked into the room, his hands holding some food, he suddenly saw the girl had fallen onto the floor and was gasping for life.
Ron instantly rushed over and scooped her up, he intended to place her down on the empty bed to examine but she pointed toward the boy who was lying there, her hand trembling yet full of willpower, trying to convey the message to Ron before fainting.
Ron immediately understood her intention, placing her right beside the boy named Mark, the exact moment she touched the boy's body, her entire frame gradually relaxed like soft noodles, and each muscle fiber seemed to be loosened in water.
BOOM!
Her eyes unexpectedly exploded, blood flowing in streams of agony, she seemed to lose consciousness due to the pain.
Ron immediately snapped out of his astonishment to grab the medical bandage roll in order to stop her bleeding.
He urgently acted without any delay, within moments the task was finished, Ron looked at the girl who now carried a pile of bandages on her face yet still felt uneasy, intending to carry her up to go for a general laboratory test but he felt as though if he separated the two of them everything would become much worse.
Ron also did not dare to be sure about the usage of the testing machine, he did have a general checkup before but it did not mean he knew how it operated.
Ron could only check her briefly with the tools he had readily available, noticing she had nothing abnormal so he had to leave it at that.
He looked over at the boy, feeling that he was still fine, only that... his wounds were too severe while he had nothing to guarantee that the boy would live.
Ron was helpless, he sat down next to Quân's bed, he looked at Quân, the fellow felt completely pale like a frozen corpse, but Ron knew he was still alive.
Suddenly Ron's fingers twitched a few times, Ron looked out toward the window, he could see the sun had already risen high, he stepped closer to look then realized this pure white sunlight was shining upon a city of flat buildings, occasionally in the distance was a long line of buildings arranged into a complex block.
Ron also looked toward the hospital room door, he felt as though he was gradually guessing the rules of the abnormal occult.
Ron adjusted his collar, he used the fishing lines to connect with the bed legs to guard against them waking up, he also thoughtfully left food next to the table then departed.

Less than 5 minutes since entering, Ron had soon guessed one more thing about this place from the boy Mark.
