A Legendary Pokémon, and one hostile toward humans at that, was a ticking time bomb. If it lost control, it could bring devastating destruction to all of Jinling City.

"Alright, alright, no need for such formalities." Ye Jianguo waved his hand dismissively. He scanned the group, his gaze finally landing on Kenji.
"So you're Kenji?"

"Yes, Senior. I am Kenji." Kenji nodded.
Ye Jianguo laughed heartily. "Not bad, kid. Did you know? Your Beedrill's Mega Stone was traded by your academy's principal from the father of the apprentice of the brother of my son's wife."
Kenji felt dizzy trying to follow the genealogy Ye Jianguo rattled off like a restaurant menu.
"Why aren't you staying put at school, kid? What are you doing wandering around here?" Ye Jianguo asked, ignoring Kenji's confusion.
"Senior Ye, although Beedrill and I have the Mega Stone, we're still missing that spark to achieve Mega Evolution. I came here hoping to try my luck and challenge a Legendary Pokémon," Kenji answered truthfully.
As Kenji spoke, the expressions of everyone present turned incredibly strange.
So this guy is treating a Legendary Pokémon as a whetstone for his Pokémon.
It was beyond crazy.
"Hahahaha! Good lad!" Ye Jianguo laughed loudly, slapping Kenji on the back as he spoke.
The slap made Kenji wince in pain; his back felt like it was on fire.
Despite his white hair making him look sixty or seventy, Ye Jianguo's strength was terrifying.
"Ahem, Senior Ye, perhaps we should attend to business first," Marina interjected cautiously, unable to watch any longer.
With a ticking time bomb still sitting on Mount Blackthunder, their casual chat seemed a bit inappropriate.
Ye Jianguo slapped his forehead. "Right, right. Business first."
"POP!!—"
The sound of Pokéballs opening rang out.
The Senior Investigators and Xavier summoned their flying Pokémon.
Beside Marina, a Milotic burst from red light, appearing before everyone.
Milotic, the Tender Pokémon. It is said to have the power to soothe anger and hatred, quelling disputes. It evolves from Feebas, known as the ugliest Pokémon in the world.
