Airport
The blond man dressed in black raised both hands indifferently.
Terrifying laser cannons unfolded from his palms.
Twin muzzles aimed directly at a large group of civilians, forcing them to squat obediently on the ground, not daring to move.
"Whoever comes… No matter who it is, with this many lives in my hands, I can force them to obey."
A cruel smile curled at the corner of the blond man's mouth.
He knew the Plumbers too well.
Soft-hearted.
As long as he held enough hostages, he could threaten anyone.
He frowned slightly and crossed his arms, staring toward the airport entrance.
"…Why isn't the enemy here yet?"
"Slow."
He never noticed the high fences around the airport—
Whoosh!
An illegally modified old, broken car suddenly blasted into the sky using rocket thrusters and wing-like devices!
It soared straight over the fence.
The car landed heavily on the airport lawn.
The rockets continued firing.
The old broken car charged straight at the blond man!
"…Huh?!" He reacted instantly.
Laser waves erupted from his palms, blasting the front of the car!
The vehicle shook violently, its exterior damaged—
But its speed didn't drop!
"Shit…"
The blond man ripped open his coat, revealing a massive reactor embedded in his chest.
Boom!!
Violent energy surged out, slamming into the car and forcing it to stop!
"Now—get out. Max Tennyson!"
He raised his weapon and aimed at the civilians behind him.
"Or I'll kill them one by one in front of you!"
Someone who drove like that—
Only the legendary Plumber, Grandpa Max, fit the bill.
And he was soft-hearted.
The car, however, stayed completely still.
"…Courting death."
Cold light flashed in the man's eyes as he turned toward the hostages—
Whoosh.
A figure stepped forward from the crowd.
An elderly man.
Dignified.
Calm.
Majestic without anger.
He raised a laser gun at lightning speed and pulled the trigger.
Bang!!
The laser struck the blond man squarely in the face!
His body staggered violently.
"Hunter. The notorious leader of an international poaching syndicate. I didn't catch you before I retired. But now—I finally have the chance."
Grandpa Max spoke calmly while pulling the trigger repeatedly.
The firing speed was terrifying.
No time to aim.
The barrel swung casually—
Yet every laser shot struck a vital weak point on Hunter's body!
Hunter was battered relentlessly, his body rocking uncontrollably!
"Someone came to save us…"
"Why is it an old man… older than my dad?"
The civilians stared in disbelief.
High above—
Alien X narrowed his eyes.
Divine power amplified his voice, sending it directly into everyone's minds.
"Everyone—leave. Now."
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The civilians snapped out of their shock and fled desperately.
Bang!!
Grandpa Max continued firing until—
The laser gun finally went silent.
"When you put the gun down… You're dead!!" Hunter roared.
His clothes tore apart, revealing a body reinforced with alloy-like flesh and steel bones!
Crack!
Max fired with one hand while swiftly pulling out a miniature energy culture chamber with the other, instantly switching weapons and maintaining pressure!
Only after the civilians escaped—
His hands weakened.
He stopped firing.
"Die!!"
Hunter spread his hands.
Laser waves blasted toward Max!
Grandpa Max reacted instantly, rolling and dodging continuously, barely avoiding the beams!
Hunter frowned.
He didn't understand—
Why was this bulky old man so agile?!
Alien X saw everything clearly.
Beneath Max's thick frame—
Layer upon layer of tightly coiled muscle.
Fat-wrapped muscle.
A body that had never gone soft.
"Damn it! If guns don't work—then die!"
Hunter roared and charged forward, alloy fists smashing toward Max!
One hit—
Would be fatal.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Max dodged sideways.
The laser gun in his hand turned into a blunt weapon, smashing into Hunter repeatedly!
The gunstock hit again and again—
Useless.
It couldn't break the alloy body.
"Why can't I catch you?!" Hunter snarled, trying desperately to grab him.
"Compared to Vilgax… You're too slow."
Max's eyes were sharp as he struck again.
Still—no effect.
"Enough!" Hunter raised his palm and aimed at the ground.
Boom!!
He fired directly downward!
He was willing to injure himself—
Just to hurt Max!
But—
Grandpa Max fired first.
Bang!!
The recoil blasted him backward, sending him flying several meters away!
At the same time—
Hunter's blast detonated, engulfing himself in a violent explosion!
"Cough… cough…"
Max lay on the ground, barely moving.
Hunter limped out of the smoke, raised his hand, and began charging another laser.
No taunts.
No hesitation.
He was willing to cripple himself—
Just to win.
No wonder Vilgax had once lost to Grandpa Max.
This legendary Plumber—
His marksmanship.
His positioning.
His judgment.
All had reached perfection.
Even in old age.
"Die… legendary Plumber."
Laser light gathered slowly in Hunter's palm.
His face was cold.
