Chapter 139 - Chapter 138: There is no benefit in winning, but losing will be miserable!

[Haruno Sakura: Wow! Master is so awesome! She sent Orochimaru flying with one punch, like a shooting star!]

[Yamanaka Ino: How shameless! Lady Tsunade hasn't even accepted you yet, and you're already calling her Master. But Lady Tsunade is indeed amazing, worthy of being one of the Legendary Sannin.]

[Tenten: She's my idol after all. That punch must have carried over ten thousand pounds of force, right? It sent Orochimaru flying straight out of the Forest of Death and out of the village!]

[Anko Mitarashi: It's Tsunade-sama… I'm stunned. Is that really Orochimaru?]

[Kurenai Yuhi: But looking at him, it doesn't seem like he's seriously hurt. Is Tsunade-sama still going to chase him?]

[Tsunade: I said I wouldn't let him go, so I absolutely won't. I've already had the Anbu set up a barrier ahead. He's about to walk straight into the trap!]

[Haruno Sakura: So this is how you use the "Self-Trap" technique. Master, you have to teach me when you come back. I also want to be as strong as you!]

[Tenten: Itsuki also learned Tsunade-sama's power, but it doesn't seem as violent…]

[Tsunade: @Tenten, I'll allow you to reorganize your words.]

[Tenten: I… I mean powerful! Itsuki isn't as strong as Tsunade-sama (shivering.jpg)]

Through Tsunade's live broadcast, everyone could see it clearly.

When Orochimaru tried to escape from Itsuki, he was intercepted by Tsunade.

The two didn't even exchange greetings. Tsunade simply threw a punch—and Orochimaru went flying like a meteor across the sky.

With her fourfold strength enhancement, Tsunade was truly terrifying.

Itsuki wasn't worried about Tsunade's safety. What he really wanted was to watch how she handled Orochimaru.

But Tsunade hadn't allowed him to follow, so he had no choice but to return.

"Itsuki, Itsuki, you were so handsome just now!" Naruto was the first to rush up when Itsuki arrived.

He shouted excitedly, "I didn't expect you to beat off such a powerful enemy! What was that giant technique you used? Can you teach me?"

Sakura, who had already woken up, smacked Naruto on the head.

"Idiot! That's Itsuki's Kekkei Genkai. You can't learn it without the same bloodline inheritance. Don't go around causing trouble for people!"

"It's the bloodline limit again?!" Naruto groaned, rubbing his head. "Why don't I have one? This world is so unfair!"

"Wood Release…" Sasuke had calmed down.

He looked at Itsuki with a complicated expression. "So you awakened Wood Release after all…"

The sheer power of it filled him with jealousy.

Uchiha Madara had relied on the Sharingan to stand equal to the First Hokage.

But now, staring at Itsuki, Sasuke couldn't deny it—the Sharingan seemed weak compared to Wood Release.

No. What Uchiha Madara could do, he could do too!

Strength. That was what he needed. If he could gain power equal to Itsuki's Wood Release, he could take revenge.

He was an Uchiha—the strongest Uchiha. He would find the way.

Sasuke clenched his fists. If the Sharingan seemed lacking, it was only because he wasn't using it properly.

He would force out new powers, new evolutions. That was his path.

Itsuki didn't notice Sasuke's spiraling thoughts. He gave a simple reply, then walked off with Karin.

"Karin, why did you suddenly come here? Did you leave Yakumo alone?" Itsuki asked, though he already knew.

Karin hugged his arm, rubbing her cheek against it with a blissful smile.

"The noise here was too loud. Yakumo and I got worried. I used Kagura's Mind Eye and sensed your fight. Yakumo asked me to come help. Don't worry—Ino and the others are with her now."

"Thank you for your help." Itsuki patted her head, making her close her eyes happily.

Roar!

A sudden cry startled her. Karin instinctively ducked into Itsuki's chest.

Itsuki narrowed his eyes, glancing toward the sound.

A massive brown bear emerged from the forest, its eyes locking onto them as prey.

"So this is the bear…" Itsuki thought to himself.

He remembered—in the original timeline, Karin had once been attacked by a brown bear.

Sasuke had saved her, and that encounter had marked the start of her twisted fangirl path.

But now, her fate was different. Even if this bear appeared again, she could easily kill it herself.

Still, Itsuki felt amused. The same brown bear that had bullied her in the past… fate had placed it before them again.

"Looks like we'll have bear paws for dinner today." Itsuki chuckled, forming a hand seal.

Wood Release: Thorn Killing Technique!

A sharp wooden stake shot out, binding the bear's limbs. Wooden pillars rose, forming a second layer of restraint.

"What a big bear!" Karin gasped.

The beast's head was larger than hers, its body stretching nearly twenty meters.

She'd seen bigger snakes before, but those were summoning beasts. This was a wild animal—completely natural.

"It's a pity there's no chakra in its body," Karin sighed. "Otherwise, it could've been trained into a summoning beast."

Still, she felt a strange affinity with the creature.

"Then we'll just use it as a mount for now," Itsuki said casually. His Sharingan spun, casting Genjutsu over the bear.

At once, the beast calmed.

He lifted Karin onto its back, guiding it forward toward Yakumo's location.

On the way, he gathered small animals, mushrooms, and wild vegetables.

Meanwhile, from the live broadcast chat, everyone could see Tsunade's pursuit.

She had already caught up at the edge of Konoha, ambushing Orochimaru.

The Anbu had raised a barrier, trapping Orochimaru inside—but under Tsunade's orders, they didn't interfere further.

Though it was far, Tsunade arrived in just two minutes thanks to chakra bursts.

When she appeared, Orochimaru was still stuck headfirst in the ground, only his legs sticking out—just like when Naruto once blasted the Four-Tails' Tailed Beast Ball.

"Tch. Orochimaru, stop pretending. I know that punch didn't really hurt you."

Arms folded, Tsunade sneered across at him.

With effort, Orochimaru dug himself out of the earth. He dusted off, then smirked.

"Long time no see, Tsunade. I didn't expect you to return to Konoha."

He chuckled, eyes narrowing. "But it makes sense. With someone like you—someone bound by ties of family and village—once you knew about Itsuki, you could never just stand aside.

"But I am curious… without spies in Konoha, how did you know about Itsuki ahead of time?"

Tsunade's punch hadn't been useless—it had injured him internally. And his clash with Itsuki had already drained him.

He wasn't at his peak. He didn't want to fight Tsunade here.

There was no benefit in winning.

But if he lost… it would be disastrous.
