This chapter is going to be divided into three short chapters of different perspective. Sorry if it is bad but I was kind of stuck on how to write this chapter but I promise it won't be like this always.
This is kind of the Climax after this chapter, I'll have written a third of my novel, so this could be the end of Volume 1 or something.

Part One — After Clara Leaves
[Nobody's POV]
The cafe felt strangely quiet once Clara and Nathaniel stepped outside. The door closed behind them with a soft chime that echoed far louder in Lily's chest than it should have.
Margaret let out a shaky breath, her fingers trembling slightly as she smoothed the napkin on her lap. Melissa reached over and covered her mother's hand, grounding her.
Henry looked between them all, uneasy. He'd expected shock. Maybe even tears. But the tension that had settled over the table felt heavier than anything he'd imagined.
