MONDAY
Guess who I saw at school today? Yep, Bethany. Yippee! Sometimes I wonder what it is I did for the universe to be so brutal to me. Main character energy I guess.
The moment I spotted that witch from the opposite side of the hallway, my mood switched. I just threw my stuff in my locker and marched upstairs like an angry buffalo wing. I'm sure I scared a few people, which… okay. You should have seen me, girl.
Thank God I was able to avoid any interaction with her, 'cause I was SO ready to slap the hell out of somebody this morning. It's a puberty thing.
I don't think she would have even entertained a squabble with me, to be honest. She seemed pretty occupied...
...'Occupied' as in, throwing herself at a group of dumb boys from the soccer team.
I will admit though, Bethany's pretty good at what she does – using boys. And that is so badass.
Wow, mom was right when she told me nobody's completely empty. Actually, screw that. I need obligatory teen drama.
School today wasn't even as bad as I made it seem. Things started to get better after that morning. I even checked a box in my BFF to-do list, "Get your girl a man".
It all started during P.E. (cue the dramatic music)...
Helena noticed her long-time crush, sitting right there on the bleachers, and of course, I noticed too. I also noticed him noticing her noticing him, tehehe. You know where this is going.
Who's the guy in question? Red Ryder Hood. Okay, his real name is actually Ryder, LMAO.
We started calling him that 'cause he's always in red whenever we see him. Helena and I literally have names for everybody. Trust me, you don't wanna know. If you and your bestie haven't given random people nicknames at some point, you might need to question your friendship.
Immediately after class, I dragged Helena over to Ryder. If we didn't get to him first, Bethany would have. Sister literally had a girl-squad fixing her makeup and doing her hair.
Wait a minute! How did Bethany manage to pull that MANY friends so fast??? Ugh.
Anyway, we had a surprisingly good convo before I left Ryder and Helena alone. They looked sooooo cute together! I almost got a sugar rush. I felt so fulfilled, knowing Ryder's not in our grade, 'cause GIRLLLLLLL.
I was starting to get a little jealous though. I heard them talking about kids, and I had to butt in to remind Helena I'd already decided she would have two kids, Sanitizer and Tranquilizer.
