As Agent Williams stepped out to make the call for backup, the tension in the room became palpable. Decker and Alvin exchanged a knowing glance, their minds racing with the possibilities. Madam Jiggle, sensing the shift in atmosphere, leaned back in her chair, a calculating glint in her eye.
"So, Detectives, it seems like you have your work cut out for you," she said, her voice dripping with intrigue. "I hope you catch the culprits soon. This city's been through enough already."
Decker nodded, his expression serious. "We'll do our best, Madam Jiggle. Can you tell us more about Boss Josh's relationship with the other self-proclaimed bodyguards?"
Madam Jiggle's eyes narrowed, her gaze drifting to the side as she collected her thoughts. "Well, they're all quite... generous, as I said. But Boss Josh seems to be the leader of the group. He's always the one making the arrangements, booking the rooms, and requesting specific girls."
Alvin's ears perked up at this. "Do you know anything about their connections outside of here? Any business dealings or associates we should know about?"
Madam Jiggle's smile was sly. "I'm just a humble businesswoman, Detectives. I don't pry into my clients' affairs. But I will say that these men seem to be connected to some... shady individuals. I've heard rumors."
Just then, Agent Williams returned, her phone call finished.
"We have a problem. Backup is too far to get here in time," she said, her voice slightly panicked. "I was told we will have to rely on the DCPD. That means you guys," she continued, pointing a finger at Decker and Alvin.
"That's not a problem. I'll give Captain Larcon a call and see what he can do." Decker said.
Decker pulled out his phone and dialed Captain Larcon's number, his eyes meeting Agent Williams' as he waited for an answer. "Captain, it's Decker. We need some assistance with the operation at Madame Jiggle's. We're short on backup and could use some extra bodies."
He listened for a moment, his expression serious, before nodding. "Alright, Captain. That would be great. Thank you."
Decker ended the call and turned to the group. "Good news," he said. "Captain Larcon is sending six officers to help us with the operation. We'll have enough manpower to take down the suspects."
Agent Williams' expression relaxed slightly, relief evident in her voice. "That helps. Let's get them in position and get this operation underway."
Alvin stood up, a hint of a smile on his face. "Time to get to work."
Half an hour later, backup arrived in the form of six officers in plain clothes. They blended in seamlessly with the crowd outside Madame Jiggle's establishment.
The six officers, Entered Madame Jiggle's establishment and discreetly made their way to Decker and Alvin. They introduced themselves, flashing their badges to confirm their identities.
"Detectives," I am officer Jenkins, this is
Officer Sanchez,
Officer Michaels,
Officer Patel,
Officer Reed, and
Officer Knight. One of the officers said quietly. "We're here to assist with the operation. Captain Larcon sent us."
Decker nodded, his expression serious. "Good, let me introduce you to our FBI counterparts. This is Agent Wayne and Agent Williams."
The officers nodded at the agents, who returned the greeting.
"Alright, let's get you briefed on the plan," Decker continued. "We're expecting some suspects to arrive here soon. Our goal is to let them settle in and then take them down quietly. We want them calm and cooperative when we make the arrest."
Decker pulled out a folder and handed each officer a photo. "These are the suspects we're looking for. Let's take a good look at their faces and make sure we can identify them. We'll let them get comfortable, and then we'll move in and make the arrests."
The officers studied the photos, committing the suspects' faces to memory. With the briefing complete, they dispersed to get into position, ready to respond at a moment's notice. Decker, Alvin, Agent Wayne, and Agent Williams exchanged a look, their eyes scanning the room as they waited for the suspects to arrive.
The officers, now in position, discreetly placed listening devices in their ears and tested the comms.
"Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3. Can everybody hear me? If you can, check in with your code name. This is Alpha," Alvin said.
The responses came in:
"Charlie, here," Decker's voice came through.
"Foxtrot, good to go," Agent Wayne checked in.
"Tango, loud and clear," Agent Williams responded.
"Bravo, check," Jenkins said.
"Delta, affirmative," Sanchez chimed in.
"Echo, ready," Michaels responded.
"Golf, good to go," Patel said.
"Hotel, here," Reed checked in.
"India, affirmative," Knight responded.
Alvin's voice came through the comms, "Alpha received all checks. Let's keep comms to a minimum until further notice."
Five hours later At 7:00 p.m., the 5 suspects arrived. They stepped into Madame Jiggle's establishment. Decker quickly checked the photos and identified all five as the ones they were looking for. He quickly spoke over the radio, "Charlie to all units, we have confirmation. All five suspects are present. Everyone, be on alert."
Shortly after the five men chose the women they wanted and started heading to the rooms
The team's comms came alive with Alvin's voice, "Alpha to all units, targets are making their move. They're heading to the rooms with the women. Let's get ready to move in."
They watch as each and every one of them entered the rooms and lock the doors.
Alvin's voice came through the comms, calm and authoritative, "Alpha to all units, let's move in. We'll split into groups of two and take down each suspect. Teams, move in quietly and apprehend your targets."
The teams nodded, and each pair moved towards their designated suspect's room. Decker and Agent Wayne (Foxtrot) moved towards room 1, Alvin and Jenkins (Bravo) towards room 2, Agent Williams (Tango) and Michaels (Echo) towards room 3, Patel (Golf) and Reed (Hotel) towards room 4, and Knight (India) and Sanchez (Delta) towards room 5, where Boss Josh was likely to be.
The teams reached the rooms, took a deep breath, and prepared to breach. "Let's go," Alvin whispered, and the teams moved in simultaneously.
The doors burst open as the teams stormed in, shouting "Police! Hands up!" The suspects were caught off guard, and the teams quickly overpowered them.
Decker and Foxtrot had their suspect on the ground in seconds, handcuffs securing his wrists. "Suspect one in custody," Decker reported.
Alvin and Bravo had a brief struggle, but soon their suspect was subdued. "Suspect two in custody," Alvin said.
Tango and Echo took down their suspect with ease. "Suspect three secure," Tango reported.
Golf and Hotel moved swiftly, pinning their suspect to the floor. "Suspect four in custody," Golf said.
India and Delta had the toughest time, with Boss Josh putting up a fight. But they managed to overpower him, slapping on the handcuffs. "Suspect five in custody," India said, panting.
The teams regrouped outside the rooms, their suspects in tow. Alvin's voice came through the comms, "Alpha to all units, all five suspects are in custody. Let's get them booked and start processing them." The team began to lead the suspects away, their mission a success.
"Is it over?" madam jiggles asked walking over to Alvin and Decker
"Yes it's over, The suspects are in custody, Madam Jiggle," Alvin said with a nod. "We appreciate your cooperation and the assistance of your staff. You've been very helpful."
Decker added, "Thank you, ma'am. We couldn't have done it without your help."
Madam Jiggle smiled, looking relieved. "Okay, that's nice to know. Thank you, detectives. You're welcome back here anytime. Here are some vouchers for the next time you visit – your first two rounds are free," she said with a smile.
Alvin accepted the vouchers, his face blushing. Decker started coughing.
Decker coughed "That's nice of you, ma'am, but we need to get going," he said. Then he grabbed Alvin's arm and steered him toward one of the squad cars. Shortly after, they got in and drove to the station.
From atop a roof overlooking Madam Jiggle's establishment, Shadow Snake threw his head back and let out a loud, maniacal laugh that echoed through the streets, sending shivers down the spines of everyone who heard it. "Excellent, everything is going according to plan," he said, his voice dripping with satisfaction, before disappearing into the shadows.
Madam Jiggle's eyes widened, a chill running down her spine as she muttered, "What in the world...?"
Alvin and Decker exchanged a concerned glance. "What was that?" Decker asked, his voice low, as he drove away from the scene.
Alvin shook his head, "No idea, but let's get back to the station."
The other officers that were still on the scene looked at each other unease, their faces pale.
Passersby paused, looking around nervously, some quickening their pace.
The sound sent a ripple of fear through the crowd, leaving everyone wondering what could have made such a haunting sound.
Meanwhile, back in the Wright family's mansion, the Wright Family was gathered in their meeting hall. "Uncle Sebastian, has Shadow Snake completed the mission? Why is it taking him so long? Should I call my father and see if he could help?" James asked, his voice laced with frustration.
Sebastian's expression remained stern. "No, there's no need to involve your father, Steven, in this. He is in seclusion training. Leave him and let him train."
Marcus spoke up, his tone cold and calculating. "But father, we need to show our enemies that we are not weak. I say we strike while the iron is hot."
Emily's eyes blazed with anger. "I agreed with Marcus, Father. David was a promising young man for the family and he was killed. He is the only young generation we had and we need to find out who is behind his death."
Sebastian's voice was calm, but firm. "I understand your feelings; however, we do not know who our enemy is. All we can do is wait for Shadow Snake to gather information."
Just then, as if he was summoned, Shadow Snake appeared and knelt before Sebastian. "Greetings, Master Sebastian. I come bringing news."
The room fell silent, anticipation hanging in the air. Oliver's eyes narrowed. "Speak. What's going on? What news do you have?" he asked, his wife Jenny's hand on his arm, her eyes fixed on Shadow Snake.
Shadow Snake's voice was low and steady. "I was able to track down the individuals who were responsible for the young master's death; however, as I was about to kill them, they said something interesting. It would appear someone had sent them to kill the young Master..."
"I knew it. But who would be bold enough to send someone to kill my grandson?" Catherine asked, her voice trembling with rage, her eyes blazing with anger.
"Now, dear, calm down. Don't worry, we will get our revenge," Sebastian said, putting a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
Jenny jaw clenched. "Who is behind this? Tell us, Shadow Snake. Who killed my son"
Shadow Snake's smile spread, his eyes glinting with determination. "I'm not sure who it was, as yet. I've set my plan into motion. Right now, the police have the suspects in custody, and I'm sure whoever set them up will find a way to silence them or get them released from police custody. Either way, I'll be there watching to see what happens next."
The Wright Family members nodded, their expressions resolute.
"Good," Sebastian said. "Keep us informed, Shadow Snake. We will not rest until we find out who is behind this."
Catherine's voice was cold. "And when we do, they'll pay dearly for what they've done."
Shadow Snake's eyes seemed to gleam with a fierce intensity. "It is time for me to put phase two of my plan into action. I will not let you all down," he said, his voice dripping with determination.
With a sudden movement, he vanished into the shadows, leaving the Wright Family to ponder his next move.
The room was silent for a moment, the only sound the soft whisper of the wind outside.
Sebastian's eyes narrowed. "He's a valuable asset. Let's see what he does next."
Oliver's eyes widened slightly as he turned to Sebastian. "Oh right! I forgot to ask Shadow Snake if he was the one responsible for the Warehouse auto shop murders I heard about on the news this afternoon," he said, scratching his beard thoughtfully.
Sebastian chuckled low, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Well, to be fear, you were the one who told him to leave a message by leaving a bloodbath behind."
The Wright Family members erupted into laughter, their voices filling the room with a mixture of dark humor and approval.
Catherine shook her head, a sly smile on her face. "Men and their methods."
Marcus leaned back in his chair, a pleased look on his face. "A bloodbath, indeed. Effective, if I do say so myself."
