As the cherry blossoms flow Chiasa slashes at Emiko. Each swing is followed by cherry blossoms. Emiko forms a guandao in her hand, the tip red with blood. Emiko slashes wide the blood on the tip of the weapon flying onto the wall. Chiasa ducks dodging the strike, quickly retaliating with a stab aimed at Emiko's stomach. Emiko twirls to the side swinging the guandao as she moves forcing Chiasa to deflect her strikes.
"For being a five tailed you are holding up well," Emiko reaches for Chiasa's head as she speaks. "But you will never be able to beat a six tailed."
Chiasa cuts Emiko's hand off, stopping her from grabbing Chiasa. Emiko jerks back in pain, but seconds later the wound is sealed and the hand begins to regrow. Chiasa runs towards Emiko as the cherry blossoms follow her. Chiasa delivers a punch to Emiko's stomach followed by a cut to her arm, the cherry blossoms covering the wound. "Try to heal through those you bitch," Chiasa breathes heavily as she stares at Emiko.
Godwine watches as a boulder launched by a catapult impacts the main gate, severely damaging it. "King Mihel has a battering ram coming! We will scale the wall and give them time!" Godwine shouts as he and his regiment begin to run at the wall, some soldiers holding ladders. The archers of his regiment begin to fire at the soldiers on the wall. "Get those ladders against the wall and start climbing men!"
The soldiers begin to throw the ladders against the wall and quickly begin to scale the wall. As they scale the wall many fall from the ladders as they reach the top. "Do not fear death, men we shall win this!"
Tasha forms vines that scale up the wall for soldiers to use. As the infantry arrives at the wall Godwine takes charge.
Chiasa is knocked against a wall as cherry blossoms fly at Emiko, slightly cutting her. As the cherry blossoms flow faster the battle intensifies with Emiko continuing to smile as she violently swings her guandao at Chiasa spinning and elegantly moving despite the violence behind each swing. Chiasa continues to dodge and deflect each strike until one swing graces her thigh.
"Perhaps you are more skilled than I anticipated," Emiko's smile never fades as wipes blood from her cheek.
A cherry blossom lands on Chiasa's thigh and the wound begins to quickly heal. "What didn't expect a five tail to beat a six tail?" Chiasa laughs as she charges down Emiko, landing slash after slash.
"Enough!" a giant pulse of energy bursts out from that burns up all the cherry blossoms and instantly heals every wound that was inflicted onto her. "I refuse to lose to a lesser five tail!" Emiko charges forward swinging her guandao in a downwards motion but before she can land the strike the guandao disappears from her hand and her eyes shut. Slowly the tails and fangs retract as she lays on the floor of the wall.
Chiasa looks at Emiko's body laying on the ground watching as her smile falls. "You should've known that would happen dumbass," Chiasa begins to run along the wall, killing any soldier that gets in the way until she reaches where Godwine's regiment is scaling the wall.
"Shit," Godwine curses under his breath as he reaches the top of the wall, slashing and stabbing soldiers as Chiasa cuts a soldier's head off. Godwine throws a soldier off the wall as he continues to glance at Chiasa nervously.
Eventually the cherry blossoms catch up to Chiasa spreading across the battlefield as Chiasa gracefully dances through licking her lips. "It is nice to feast instead of struggle."
Godwine grits his teeth as he impales a soldier. "Please find somewhere to hide and don't heal all your wounds," Godwine pleads under his breath as he continues to dispatch his enemies one by one. Tasha eventually scales the wall as the infantry defending begin to slowly back away. She looks down at the town as soldiers swarm the streets chasing the defenders down alleys.
"This doesn't feel right at all," Tasha speaks under her breath as she forms vines blocking the retreating soldiers' escape from the wall. Seconds later more vines shoot out the wall impaling the soldiers. She stands staring at her outstretched and open hand. Godwine runs past her slamming a soldier off the wall. Tasha watches frozen as the soldiers run past her until she is left behind watching as soldiers retreat toward the citadel as their comrades in arms die behind them. She stands silently for a bit longer before she shakes her head quickly starting to run after her allies.
Chiasa laughs as she jumps onto a building watching as the cherry blossoms cut and impale the enemies watching them fall. She smiles looking back and sees Godwine looking at her as she turns dropping into a building.
Godwine advances with the army till he reaches the building, entering it and finding Celina with no tails fangs and returned to her normal height, laying on a table, eyes shut. Godwine quickly runs over noticing cuts and wounds on her arm, sighing as he looks out a window, seeing the army continuing to advance. Suddenly his eyes widen as he turns tightly gripping his sword and shield.
"To think that we made a deal with the devil," a man bearing the crest of Cainfield walks forward, eventually his face comes into view as two other figures follow behind him. "I, lord Colinet, am disgusted at what I failed to see. The contract demands it so you shall receive your payment once this war ends but you should run once you get that payment king Mihel does not take the likes of demons well."
"I can't believe that demons are a real thing," Roysa's face is full of shock as she glances at Colinet and Celina.
Lambin laughs as he looks at Celina's body lying on the table. "I knew something was wrong, I just couldn't have guessed it would be demons."
Godwine stands up walking towards Colinet sheathing his sword and putting his shield on his back. "She is no demon. You know not what a demon is," Godwine clenches his fist as he stares into Colinet's eyes.
"What your ally is sure seemed like a demon to me though," Colinet matches Godwine's stare. "It seems you are needed to help breach the citadel, so maybe you ought to leave her here," Colinet gets up to Godwine's ear. "With us."
"Never," Godwine pushes Colinet back and stands next to Celina. "I won't leave my friend with the likes of you," Godwine grabs his helmet holding it tightly. "Leave now."
Colinet smiles as he backs away. "Good luck then." Godwine stays next to Celina as the battle continues to rage, slowly getting farther away as the soldiers reach the citadel.
Tasha is with the soldiers as they reach the citadel watching as Neer's garrison runs through its gates. Without second guessing herself Tasha forms vines emerging from the wall that hook onto one of the gates forcing them to stay open. Her face contorts with regret and displeasure as she watches soldiers flood in through the gate she holds open. Soon after she enters the gate but before her does not stand her allies victorious but their corpses.
"Now break the vines!" someone shouts from above and the sound of the vines snapping fills Tasha's ears. She turns around and watches as the gate begins to shake as another snap the gate shakes more until with a violent snap the gate slowly begins to close. "Do not let her escape! Slaughter those who are with her!" arrows begin to rain down as the screams of the soldiers around her fills the air, their bodies thumping onto the ground. Before Tasha knows it the gate shuts and all around her are the corpses of those she was just fighting with. Her heart thumps as she looks around her breathing growing erratic. "Capture her, do not let her escape!" Soldiers bearing the crest of Neer begin to run in not too many but her vision shows her hundreds even thousands flooding towards her.
