Chapter 97 - Chapter 97— When the Ravens Strike

Jayjay's POV

The night air was quiet — too quiet.

Keifer's house stood tall and dark, the lights from the upper floors glowing faintly through the curtains.

the driver parked the car at the gate, the four bodyguards following behind. Two of them stayed outside, the other two came with me as I entered.

The place still smelled like Keifer — that strong mint and cold cedar scent.

I went up the grand stairs, the sound of my footsteps echoing softly in the hall.

When I opened the door to Keagan's room, I almost laughed.

Both of them were asleep — one hugging a pillow, the other half off the bed.

"Hey…" I whispered, shaking Keiren's shoulder.

"Wake up. We need to go — now."

Keiren mumbled something, rubbing his eyes.

"sis-in-law? It's late—"

"No time to talk. Pack your clothes. Fast."

Keagan blinked twice, confused but obeyed immediately. Within five minutes, we were ready, dragging two small duffel bags behind us.

We went downstairs, the hallway eerily silent.

As we stepped outside, a chill ran down my spine.

"Wait…" I murmured.

The two bodyguards who'd been standing by the car were on the ground — unconscious.

"What the—" I whispered, bending down.

Then—

THWACK!

Something hard slammed against the back of my head. My vision blurred instantly.

Keiren shouted my name — "Jayjay!" — but it was fading, slipping away as everything turned black.

The last thing I saw were dark figures with black raven symbols on their jackets.

Then—

nothing.

Keifer's POV — One hour later

I glanced at the clock again.

1:44 a.m.

Jayjay had been gone for over an hour. She should've been back by now.

I picked up my phone and dialed her number for the third time.

Unreachable.

Then I tried Keiren. Then Keagan. Same result.

A bad feeling started crawling up my spine.

Something was wrong.

I immediately called the Section E boys who'd gone home early.

"Everyone, come to Adrian's house. Now. David, Ci-N — you two, check if Jayjay's still at my place. Don't waste time."

Within thirty minutes, the others arrived — breathless, tense. Adrian, Valerie, Angelo, Yuri, and Ciel came out from the secret room, their faces already tight with worry.

Adrian stepped forward first.

"What happened?"

I ran a hand through my hair, pacing back and forth.

"Jayjay's phone is dead. Keiren's too. Keagan's as well. They're gone."

The whole room fell silent.

Even the air seemed to stop moving.

Before anyone could say a word, David and Ci-N burst through the door — dragging in two of my bodyguards, both bruised and pale.

I stormed forward, grabbing one by the collar.

"Where are they!? Where's Jayjay and my brothers!?"

The man stammered, shaking.

"S-Sir… we were outside, waiting for Miss Jayjay to come out. Then… we were attacked from behind. I swear we didn't see their faces—"

That's all I needed to hear.

I shoved him to the floor, fury burning through my veins.

"You useless—!"

Angelo stepped in quickly.

"Enough, Keifer. They're injured." He turned to the maids.

"Take them to the hospital for check-ups. Now."

I didn't move. I couldn't.

My blood was boiling. My hands were shaking.

I turned to Ciel.

"Ciel, hack into my house's CCTV. Now. Every camera."

She nodded without hesitation, pulling out her laptop. Fingers flying across the keys, screens flashing in front of her.

Minutes later — she froze.

"Keifer…" she whispered. "You need to see this."

Everyone gathered behind her.

The footage showed it clearly: Jayjay stepping outside with Keiren and Keagan — then the two bodyguards collapsing — then three masked men appearing out of nowhere, with the Iron Raven symbol glinting under the moonlight.

The last frame before the camera cut was Jayjay's body falling to the ground.

I didn't speak.

I didn't move.

I just… stood there.

Then slowly, I walked toward the wall, stopped in front of it — my fists clenched tight — and screamed,

 "F***! AHHHHHHHHHH!"

My fist smashed into the wall. Dust exploded.

"Victor Voss Delacruze!" Bam!

"Kaiser Watson!" Bam!

"Iron Ravens!" Bam!

My fists hit again and again, blood dripping from my knuckles.

"F*** you all!" I shouted, punching harder. "You took her! You took my family! I'll burn you all to the ground! AHHHHHHHHHH!"

Yuri and David rushed in, grabbing my arms, pulling me back.

"Keifer! Stop! You'll break your hand!"

"Let go of me!"

"Save your energy!" David shouted. "Save it for when we find them!"

I stopped, breathing heavily, sweat and blood mixing on my face.

Adrian stood a few steps away, his voice low and calm but burning with fury.

"We'll find them. I swear it."

And as silence fell again, I realized one thing.

The game had changed.

This wasn't Section E versus fate anymore.

This was war.
