Chapter 96 - Chapter 96— The Ravens’ Wing

(Jayjay's POV)

It had been hours since Angelo revealed that Victor's escape wasn't a random incident. Everyone was still gathered inside Adrian's grandfather's secret room — the one hidden behind the wall shelf in the study.

The air felt heavy, like it was choking us all.

The room smelled like old wood and burnt dust. The lights were dim, casting shadows on everyone's faces. Adrian stood with his arms crossed beside Ciel, Valerie sat quietly flipping through an old file, and Keifer leaned against the cold wall, lost in thought.

Angelo was typing fast on his laptop, the light from the screen glowing against his face.

Then he stopped.

"Found it…" he whispered.

We all turned.

He pressed play. The video flickered for a few seconds — and then showed a dark figure handing over a forged ID card and a bag of money to the prison guard. The camera angle shifted slightly… showing the face of the man behind the deal.

Everyone froze.

I gasped first.

Ciel covered her mouth.

Even Adrian's face changed.

And Keifer… he just stood there. His eyes widened, his jaw clenched tight.

"That's… that's my monster father."

The room went silent. You could almost hear everyone's heartbeat.

"Kaizer Watson," Angelo confirmed quietly. "He's the one who helped Victor escape… and the money came straight from the Iron Ravens."

Keifer laughed bitterly, his hands shaking slightly as he brushed his hair back.

"Of course it's him. The great Kaiser never dies quietly."

I took a small step closer.

"Keifer… are you okay?"

He looked at me, and for a second, he didn't even blink.

"He killed my mom, Jay. He destroyed our family. And now he's back — working with Victor. I swear… I'll end this myself."

I got up from my seat.

"Keifer, don't. Not again. You don't have to carry everything alone."

But Keifer shook his head.

"You don't get it. He almost ruined everything my mother built. The company she started — the name she left behind — and now he's using her legacy to fund a gang."

Adrian slammed his hand against the desk.

"Then we'll stop him. All of us."

Everyone nodded slowly. Even Ciel, who hadn't spoken for a while, added,

"He's not just after revenge. He's planning something bigger. The Iron Ravens never move without a purpose."

Angelo looked through more files on the screen and muttered,

"It's true. Their movement pattern… they've been gathering near the border — close to the old gaming company warehouse."

Adrian narrowed his eyes.

"That's connected to my family's tech base. If they reach there first—"

"We can't let that happen," Valerie interrupted softly, switching to Korean.

"우리가 막아야 해. (We have to stop them.)"

Adrian nodded in Korean too,

"그건 끝내야 해. (It has to end.)"

The determination in his voice sent chills through all of us.

After a few more minutes of tense silence, I finally spoke up, trying to lighten the air.

"Okay, okay. But before anyone gets hurt or starts a war, we need everyone together. Keiren and Keagan should be here too. They're safety is key to ."

Keifer looked at me, hesitating for a moment.

Then he nodded.

"You're right. But you're not going alone. I'll send four of my bodyguards to go with you. No argument."

I smiled a little.

"Who said I was going to argue?"

Adrian gave a small grin for the first time that night.

Valerie, standing beside him, crossed her arms and said in Korean,

"조심해, 제이. (Be careful, Jay.)"

I nodded.

"Don't worry. I'll bring them back."

As I turned toward the secret door, I could still feel the tension behind me — Adrian's heavy breathing, Keifer's clenched fists, Ciel's worried eyes, Valerie's quiet determination.

We all knew something had changed.

This wasn't just about Victor anymore.

This was about families, revenge, and truth — everything that had been buried beneath years of pain.

And for the first time, I realized… the real war was only beginning.
