----------
Sol, of the Element 4 of Phantom Lord, is a despicable Mage who, despite his considerable strength, enjoys toying with opponents through schemes and tricks, fancying himself a gentleman while being utterly vile at heart.
Sol's Magic allows him to read an opponent's fearful memory. Once he knows their weakness, he can use his Earth Magic to manipulate sand and stone to manifest their fears, easily securing victory.
However, in Fairy Tail, there was also an individual capable of "mind-reading."
"Cana, he's reading your mind! Think of something happy!" Warren reminded the drunken girl through his Telepathy Magic.
He then seized the opportunity to activate his Armament Haki and fiercely attack Sol.
Something happy? Cana's mind couldn't help but conjure the image of a white-haired young man embracing her against a wall with a small white dog, making her blush slightly.
Why are you blushing?! I'm about to overheat!
Sol failed to read Cana's fearful memory once again. Repeated failures caused him to enter a state of overheating, and coupled with Warren's relentless assault, Sol, who was not adept at physical combat, became even more flustered.
The hastily erected defensive Magic was no match for the ferocity of Haki.
As Cana rejoined the battle, forming a pincer movement with Warren, Sol quickly became the first high-ranking combatant from Phantom Lord to be defeated in this Guild war.
With one of their leaders defeated, the morale of Phantom Lord's ordinary Mages plummeted, and their offensive momentum was broken.
The last two of the Element 4 remained.
Juvia, the Water of the Element 4, also known as the "Rain Woman," possesses Water Magic that allows her to turn her body into water. Juvia's Magic Power is immense; her emotions can even influence the weather.
Aria, the Air of the Element 4, is also the leader of the Element 4. He uses Wind Magic, and his formidable strength is no less than Gajeel's. He is Jose's most trusted subordinate.
They faced Mirajane.
If the other two Element 4 of the same rank were being suppressed by non-S-Class Mages of Fairy Tail, how much better could their situation be against Fairy Tail's stronger S-Class Mages?
They were merely struggling to hold on.
The "Gun and Bullet Combo" of Bisca and Alzack was not effective against powerful Mages, but they were remarkably efficient against ordinary Mages.
With the cooperation of their companions, Phantom Lord members fell one after another under their magical bullets.
Jose had indeed seized the opportune moment when Fairy Tail was vulnerable to launch the Guild war.
However, no one would have expected that Fairy Tail's second-tier Mages, below S-Class, would possess strength comparable to Phantom Lord's high-ranking Mages.
Even the weaker Mages were overwhelming Phantom Lord's side.
In terms of potential, there was no Magic Guild in Ishgar that could rival Fairy Tail. If they were allowed to continue developing... Jose suppressed his inner unease, his face grim as he watched the one-sided battle below.
Once the arrow is shot, there's no turning back. Even if today's battle ended in defeat, Jose was determined to significantly weaken Fairy Tail's new generation of power. He absolutely could not allow them to continue growing.
The Magic castle on the lake spewed steam. Amidst the rumbling mechanical sounds, a giant Magic cannon barrel extended from within the castle, its dark muzzle aimed at the battlefield.
The Magical Convergent Cannon: Jupiter, also known as the Jupiter Cannon.
Using the Magic from four large Magic crystals as an energy source, four massive streams of Magic Power are fed into the main cannon. The compressed Magic generates astonishing energy within the muzzle, enough to flatten half a city.
Amidst flickering faint light, a vast dark Magic Power rapidly converged toward the muzzle. Wisps of dark purple aura slowly emanated, the fluctuation of destructive power.
Everyone aimed at by the cannon's muzzle looked horrified, including the Mages of Phantom Lord, the Element 4, and Iron Dragon. They too were targets of the Magical Convergent Cannon!
"Damn it! That madman Jose, he doesn't even care about the safety of his comrades!"
Mirajane, having transformed into a demon, kicked the bruised and swollen Aria away. With a flap of her wings, she swiftly flew toward the Jupiter Cannon. She intended to interrupt or destroy the Magical Convergent Cannon before it could fire.
However, it was too late.
The cannon's roar shook heaven and earth; the Magical Convergent Cannon: Jupiter had already fired.
Facing this terrifying power, a look of determination flashed in Mirajane's eyes. She accelerated even further, gathering a large amount of dark Magic Power in her hands.
"Soul Extinctor!"
A powerful dark shockwave formed around Mirajane, blasting with full force toward the incoming Jupiter Cannon.
Dark Magic against a dark cannon, yet it erupted in dazzling white light. The clashing Magic vibrations distorted the surrounding space.
The Magic stirred up countless dust clouds. The Jupiter Cannon ultimately failed to land, but the cost was the Demon's broken wings.
Mirajane was severely injured, unable to even maintain her demon form, and fell from the sky.
"Sister!"
Elfman pushed off the ground, leaping up to catch Mirajane, completely oblivious to the faint breeze behind him that had condensed into a wind pressure bullet.
It was Aria, the Air of the Element 4!
He actually took the opportunity to ambush Mirajane and Elfman!
"Airspace: Metsu!"
This was Aria's ultimate trump card. If it hit, it could instantly drain all of the target's Magic Power, causing them to enter a state similar to Magic Deficiency Disease.
If they couldn't get enough Magic Power replenishment in time, the victim would face certain death!
A despicable sneak attack, an insidious technique!
The Fairy Tail members were enraged, but their speed was no match for the wind, making it impossible to rescue Mirajane and Elfman in time.
At this critical moment, a rainbow-colored flame, like a rainbow, streaked across the sky, instantly separating Aria's Magic from Elfman.
Flame Magic?
Was it Natsu? He wasn't at the Guild.
Was it Macao? His Magic flames were purple.
Everyone looked toward the source of the rainbow flames. The one who saved Mirajane and Elfman was... Totomaru, the Fire of the Element 4 of Phantom Lord!
"Totomaru! What are you doing?!" Sol, who had quickly fled while Cana and Warren were distracted, now loudly questioned his colleague.
Totomaru replied nonchalantly, "If it wasn't for Mirajane just now, all of us would have perished under the Jupiter Cannon. Helping a life-saver, I don't consider that betrayal."
Sol was speechless. Indeed, if Mirajane hadn't withstood it, he too would have died under the Jupiter Cannon. But Sol was not one to repay kindness. "Helping Fairy Tail, I think you want to betray Guild Master Jose!"
"How can a Guild prosper with trash like you in it?"
Totomaru looked at Sol with disgust, showing no mercy to his colleague. He looked up at Jose on the moving castle, his gaze sharp as he said:
"I joined Phantom Lord because of your name, Guild Master Jose, as one of the Ten Wizard Saints. Unfortunately, it now seems a noble title has been given to a despicable person."
"Sol is right, I really don't want to do this anymore."
In front of everyone, especially Jose, Totomaru raised his hand and erased the Phantom Lord emblem from his body.
Totomaru's actions undoubtedly enraged Jose. To slap Jose's face in front of so many people—Phantom Lord was not a gentle Guild like Fairy Tail.
The blatant betrayal made Jose cast aside his dignified demeanor.
In the blink of an eye, an evil aura flashed past. Besides the heavily injured Mirajane, who sensed it, four ghostly black Magic arrows, moving at a speed others couldn't match, pierced through Totomaru's body.
