----------

Invisible Magic Power, following the dark arrow, struck Totomaru's body and instantly erupted within him.

Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!

Dozens of wounds simultaneously appeared on Totomaru's limbs and internal organs, blood sprayed, and Totomaru's eyes gradually lost focus as he collapsed, unmoving.

This ruthless display sent shivers down everyone's spines, and seeing the expressions of the Fairy Tail members below, Jose finally felt a sense of satisfaction, saying triumphantly:

"Totomaru isn't dead yet. I'll take him back and torture him thoroughly, so everyone knows there's only one outcome for betraying me, Jose."

"And that is to be unable to live, yet unable to die!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a voice quickly chimed in, "Guild Master Jose is brilliant! We revere you! Sol vows to follow you to his death!"

Sol's flattery hit Jose right in the heart, making him feel a touch of satisfaction toward this 'waste' who had been defeated by Fairy Tail.

A sycophant, after all, isn't bad to keep around for entertainment.

"Since that's the case, Sol, go and bring Totomaru up to me."

Facing Jose's command, Sol's face was filled with ecstasy. He understood that his Guild Master no longer held his previous failure against him, and he instantly became spirited, striding toward Totomaru's location.

With Jose having instantly killed Totomaru earlier, Sol didn't believe anyone would dare to stop him. No one would dare to provoke that Ten Wizard Saints ranked adult again.

However, Fairy Tail was not a Guild that would fear power.

Just as Sol was about to grab Totomaru, a hand burning with purple flames pressed onto his shoulder.

"Sorry, but I find this young man quite agreeable, and I was hoping to ask him to teach my son Fire Magic." Macao pushed Sol aside, shielding Totomaru behind him.

Sol staggered a few steps before regaining his footing. He didn't understand why Macao, who had just been an enemy of Totomaru, was now preventing him from taking the man away.

Sol thought of the task Jose had given him, and his expression hardened. He intended to forcibly take Totomaru.

However, the next moment, the gazes from all directions startled Sol. It was the Fairy Tail members staring at him, and Sol understood that if he made any move against Macao, he would only be met with a group beating from Fairy Tail.

If he didn't complete Jose's order, he would definitely be punished upon his return.

But if he forcibly took Totomaru, he would die right now.

Sol's cold sweat poured, caught between a rock and a hard place.

"You damn waste!"

Watching the scene below, Jose was so angry he started swearing. However, seeing Fairy Tail's unity, Jose thought of something, and the anger on his face immediately transformed into a sinister smile.

Following Jose's command, the Magical Convergent Cannon: Jupiter rotated its muzzle, aiming at the city.

"Fairy Tail, if you dare to resist now, Magnolia will suffer."

"Despicable!"

"Shameless!"

"Jose, you motherfucker!"

"..."

Seeing Jose threaten them with the lives of the city and its residents, the Fairy Tail members were furious but helpless.

Mirajane, the only one who could stop the Jupiter Cannon, was severely wounded and could barely activate her Take Over Magic.

Jose laughed heartily, ordering his subordinates to attack Fairy Tail again.

However, a figure of steel at this moment questioned Jose, "Wait, Guild Master, defeating Fairy Tail like this, our victory won't be honorable..."

"Gajeel! Are you questioning me?"

"Don't forget, when you were eating garbage like a dog by the roadside, who took you in and gave you a meal?"

With Totomaru having already betrayed him, Jose was in a bad mood, so his tone toward the hesitant Gajeel was chilling: "Gajeel, if you're really that moral, then listen to me obediently. This is called repaying a debt of gratitude!"

"If you understand, then why aren't you attacking?!"

Gajeel's expression changed, but he ultimately chose to obey Jose's command, looking at Nab, who stood fearlessly in front of him.

Fairy Tail... what a great Guild.

Too bad... we're not on the same side.

The Iron Dragon's Sword slashed diagonally, leaving a vivid red streak of blood on Nab's body.

Seeing Gajeel make his move, the other Mages of Phantom Lord no longer hesitated and launched attacks on Fairy Tail. Because Jose was threatening them with the lives of Magnolia's residents, the Fairy Tail members dared not retaliate and could only passively endure the beatings.

The Fairies fell one after another. Sol even turned to target Cana and Warren, preparing to thoroughly wash away his earlier humiliation on them.

Mirajane was also a key target. If they could take down an S-Class Mage of Fairy Tail, even if it was taking advantage of her weakened state, they would still receive Jose's reward.

Elfman desperately shielded Mirajane with his body. He absolutely could not let these people harm his sister, and even though he was covered in wounds, Elfman still propped himself up to stand in front of her.

The suffering of her comrades made Mirajane anxious, but at this moment, she could do nothing. The faint rumble of thunder in the sky was like a drumbeat, striking her heart again and again.

Wait!

It was a clear day today, where was the thunder coming from?

Realizing something, a joyful smile immediately appeared on Mirajane's face, and she shouted with all her might, "The energy for the Magical Convergent Cannon is in that castle!"

"Is her brain broken? Isn't that obvious?"

Sol mocked her while manipulating sand and gravel to torment Cana, small, sharp stones leaving countless tiny wounds on the alcoholic girl.

Watching Cana struggle, Sol boasted triumphantly, "Our Super Mage Giant Phantom MK II castle is built with Magic materials and has first-class defenses. Only S-Class combat power can break through..."

Before he could finish speaking, a sudden clap of thunder echoed in the sky.

Thunder on a clear day?

Just as Sol looked up in confusion, Cana's fist was already upon him. Her fist, covered in Armament Haki, carried Cana's anger and slammed Sol to the ground.

Sol clutched his swollen right cheek, a hint of panic in his voice, "You actually dared to fight back! Don't you care about Magnolia's safety?!"

Cana smiled nonchalantly, "Do you know that Magnolia has a special kind of weather?"

Before Sol could understand, a thick golden lightning bolt, accompanied by a sharp, piercing roar, suddenly pierced through the wall of the Magic castle Super Mage Giant Phantom MK II.

With a deafening crash!

Sol's boasted Super Mage Giant Phantom MK II had a gaping hole blown in it, and the golden lightning, with unstoppable momentum, shattered one of the energy Lacrima into powder.

One of the four energy Lacrima destroyed, the Magical Convergent Cannon: Jupiter, which was gathering Magic Power and aimed at the city, immediately ceased functioning.

Jose's face was grim. It wasn't that he couldn't stop the lightning from destroying the Magic castle; it was that a threatening presence had already arrived.

A figure, accompanied by the lightning, appeared on top of the castle. He had an arrogant demeanor, short blond hair, and wore a black overcoat, with crackling electricity swirling around him.

This was Magnolia's unique weather change.

Clear skies turning into Laxus.
