----------
"Lightning Dragon" Laxus Dreyar.
One of Fairy Tail's new generation S-Class Mages.
Jose never imagined that Makarov, whom he considered his mortal enemy, had a grandson who was so fast and so strong, even already qualified to step into the threshold of the Ten Wizard Saints.
First, there was Jellal Fernandes.
Then, there was Laxus.
What do young people nowadays eat to grow up so quickly in strength?
Laxus glanced at Jose, his tone even more arrogant, "Are you trash the ones who came to cause trouble at our Fairy Tail?"
Jose looked coldly at Laxus, laughing in extreme anger. How many times had he been provoked today? Fairy Tail was truly annoying.
But it didn't matter anymore. Jose would make Makarov's arrogant grandson realize today why he, Jose, was able to become one of the Ten Wizard Saints!
Black Magic Power brewed at his fingertips, and instantly several dark spells erupted, attacking Laxus from different directions. From the aura alone, it was clear that Jose had murderous intent.
Laxus sneered. Golden lightning around him emitted a dazzling flash, obliterating all the incoming darkness. With a flick of his hand, a golden Magic circle summoned dozens of golden lightning bolts the size of bowls, blasting toward Jose.
Jose slashed his single hand forward, and a terrifyingly dark blade of ghostly aura split the air, a huge rift swallowing the lightning.
The back-and-forth collision of dark and lightning Magic, and the scattered Magic Power fluctuations formed rolling clouds that enveloped Magnolia, making the sunlight disappear.
This was a phenomenon that only occurred when the Magic of powerful Mages clashed intensely, a symbol of strength.
Above, they fought back and forth, but the battlefield below once again presented a one-sided situation, as the Fairy Tail Mages' counterattack had begun when the thunder sounded.
Without the threat of the Magical Convergent Cannon: Jupiter, the members of Fairy Tail had no more qualms. Filled with rage, they crushed the members of Phantom Lord with overwhelming force.
Aria of the Element 4 and Sol of the Element 4, due to their previous despicable actions, received special attention and were pressed to the ground and rubbed by Fairy Tail members who had mastered Haki.
Iron Dragon Slayer Gajeel did nothing but stand quietly in place. No one came to find him, and he didn't want to continue fighting.
"Gajeel, it seems you're quite idle."
Juvia of the Element 4 came to her companion's side, ignoring the beaten Aria and Sol. To her, among the large Phantom Lord, only Gajeel, her partner, could be considered a companion.
Gajeel looked at Juvia curiously, "Why didn't they hit you?"
"That's probably because I've been slacking off the whole time."
After the Jupiter Cannon was blocked by Mira, Totomaru chose to withdraw from Phantom Lord, and Gajeel felt they shouldn't continue fighting.
Juvia had the same thought, but she didn't show it. Knowing Jose's pettiness, Juvia chose to hold back during the subsequent fighting.
And now, the members of Fairy Tail also tacitly did not attack her.
Gajeel shook his head, lamenting Jose's unpopularity, "Tsk tsk, half of the Element 4 have ulterior motives. Our Guild Master is truly a failure."
"Don't you, Gajeel?"
"I have to repay a debt of gratitude."
"But what you've done for Jose over the years is already enough to repay his kindness for taking you in."
Listening to Juvia's words, Gajeel fell silent.
Gajeel had always understood that Jose only used him as a tool, but his missing foster father had once told him to know how to repay kindness.
Unlike the unique Fairy Tail, Phantom Lord had a large number of Guild branches, most of which had rapidly increased in recent years.
Gajeel had conquered them one by one for Jose.
Juvia was right; he and Jose were already even.
Thinking of this, Gajeel immediately felt much lighter. He had actually long been unable to tolerate Jose's sinister ways, but due to the other party's kindness in taking him in and the pressure of his powerful strength, he had no choice but to humble himself.
"Come, let's go see how Totomaru's injuries are."
Although Gajeel and Totomaru were both members of Phantom Lord, their relationship was only slightly better than strangers. Juvia didn't expect her partner to proactively suggest going to see Totomaru.
Because the battle was a completely one-sided advantage, the members of Fairy Tail even found time to send a group of people to temporarily handle medical support.
But the so-called medical support was nothing more than returning to the Guild to get medical supplies and bandage the injured.
Mages who used Healing Magic were very rare in the Magic world.
These Mages mostly engaged in medical work, earning money much more stably and safely than Magic Guilds that relied on completing jobs for remuneration.
So, very few Healing Mages would join Magic Guilds that required fighting and killing.
Jose didn't aim to kill Totomaru in order to torture him, but he still injured his internal organs, leaving Totomaru in extremely poor physical condition. Bandaging could only stop the bleeding and couldn't heal internal injuries.
So Mirajane sent Reedus, who was not good at fighting and used Pict Magic, to the depths of the forest outside Magnolia to invite a doctor who had a close relationship with Fairy Tail.
Turning around, Mirajane saw Gajeel and Juvia approaching. "Is it really okay for you two to be wandering around like this? Jose is still here."
"It doesn't matter. We've already done everything we could for him."
After learning about Totomaru's condition, Gajeel spoke indifferently, "How is that guy I cut?"
Mirajane didn't expect Gajeel to care about Nab's condition. It seemed his inner self was different from his cool exterior. She then smiled, "Thanks to your mercy, your sword strike was very shallow and only gave Nab a minor superficial wound. After bandaging, he joined everyone else in beating up Sol."
Following the direction of Mirajane's finger, Gajeel saw Sol being "war-stomped" by a group of people nearby, and Aria being hung up and whipped.
Petty people are always disliked.
Sycophants too.
"What kind of Magic is that black power of yours...?"
Gajeel had long noticed that the black glow covering Elfman and Nab's skin wasn't exclusive to them; he had seen at least seven or eight other people using this power.
Gajeel was very interested in that black Magic, which was like wearing a suit of steel armor. This power was perfectly compatible with his Iron Dragon Slayer Magic.
"Want to learn it?"
Mirajane couldn't help but curve her lips slightly, "Join Fairy Tail, and I'll teach you."
