The academy grounds bustled with movement as the students settled into their routines. For Rael, however things felt anything but routine. After his dou ble element awakening he'd kept to himself. The Ident watch hadn't updated his second affinity, and he had no plans to reveal it just yet.
That morning, Allen burst into the room while Rael was finishing up a round of pushups "You're still at it?Bro, relax today is not for killing yourself" Rael gave a smirk,wiping his sweat from his brow. "What class do we have?" "Electives, i'm trying the enchanter's circuit". Rael raised an eyebrow" I thought you were aiming for the combat division?"
"I am. But you can't punch every problem Rael" Allen said tossing on his academy coat "What about you?". Rael glanced at his watch. He hadn't decided but then his eye caught a listing: Beast weapon Class - Instructor Levi Craig " I'll take the beast weapon class" he muttered, Allen blinked "That's random"

The Beast weapon Training Hall was massive more like a miniature arena. Students gathered, chatting nervously. Massive weapons lined the far wall, many forged from beast bones, infused cores and elemental threads.
At the centre stood a tall man in black combat robes with grey streak in his otherwise dark brown hair. A massive spear was strapped to his back, and one of his eyes was cybernetic glowing faintly red "Welcome to those of you aren't cowards although after today eighty percent you won't return to this class" Levi said without smiling." This isn't magic theory, this is survival. Your beast weapon will be your life in dungeons, in battle and possibly against each other" He walked through them slowly. "Today you'll be tested, not for strength but compatibility". Assistants wheeled in several large crates, each contained different types of beast cores, weapons and bindings. The students were to attempt a resonance to chose or be chosen by a weapon. Allen surprisingly had also walked in curious rather than committed, Rael stayed at the back. When it was his turn, he approached the crate. Others had already tried but none had succeeded in a strong resonance except a lady named Kelly. Rael stood in front of a strange twin bladed sword.It shimmered with an odd shadowy pulse, flickering like breath. The assistant raises an eyebrow "That one? It's incomplete, the resonance circuit in the core is unstable, but Rael ignored him and gripped the weapon.
Suddenly black tendrils of energy wrapped around his wrist. The waepon pulsed and responded. A flash, Instructor Levi's eye narrowed "Resonance confirmed", the crowd went silent. Rael let go of the sword but it didn't fall, it hung in the air suspended by thin thin strands of shadow energy threades he hadn't activated consciously. Levi stepped closer studing him "What's your name?" he asked "Rael Neon" Rael answerd trying to figure out what he did "Hmph he's the one teacher said i should keep an eye on" Levi thought before looking at the remaining students "Class is over for today. Except for you Rael and Kelly stay"

That night, Rael fell into a deep heavy sleep. When Rael looked at his location it has just the stars, it has like he has in space, looking aroun he saw a miggle aged man in his late thirty with golden eyes "Rael Neon" he figure spoke "Your body was never mean to be ordinary. I reached through the barrier but i failed to descend fully instead i left my powers and fragment of my soul in you " Rael couldn't understand what was happening "I know you have questinos after hearing this but first i must warn you about this accursed world you leave in. The gods who rule this world fear what i am, they tore me apart but my essence it sleeps in you, i also am a god " the figure said as he came close to Rael, he then went to explain his power and why he was feared also telling him what will happen to everyone if the gods found out about him before he is strong. After a while he gave Rael a chance to ask his questions. At first he was quiet thinking of everything he was told "So if i have your power why for one is my shadow rank E and why haven't the gods come after me" Rael asked after a long time of thinking "For your first question i told you i failed in reincarnating so i passed am power to you although the gravity magic is rank B and shadow in E i designed it like that to put off the eye of the gods sealimg the gravity essence around you and it will keep happening with the other elements only after accessin my dueal sword will the seal break that is also why the gods have not sensed you" the man said as his shadow starte flickering "My time is up but he will see again Rael Neon" he said as a disappeared
Rael woke immediately gasping for air
