Elior woke up as early as 4a.m. He went and took a shower. As the water from the showers streamed down his face, thoughts immediately flooded his mind
'Bombs, huh'
'Voss said they are in the attic at the uncompleted building and the labs'
'More importantly: How was Headmistress Vale kidnapped?'
As Elior thought that, the soap he was using to wash his hair fell into his eyes
"Argh!" Elior shouted in pain
After some time, Elior dressed up in his training gear and headed out as he usually does
As he jogged round the streets of the school, he saw Seren training in the fields
"I guess I have to talk to her huh"
Elior walked up to her making Seren stop in her tracks
"Good morning, Seren"
Seren kept quiet for a few minutes before speaking up "Good morning"
"Training today again, huh" Elior said
"Yes, what about you?" Seren asked calmly
"Yeah, have to get stronger" Elior said, looking at his hand
"Why do you want to get stronger Elior?" Seren asked as she looked at her weapon
"Stronger?" Elior said, his eyes widening
Elior kept quiet for a second before speaking up
"I want to get stronger to fulfill a purpose, losing everything is so easy, So I want to get stronger never to feel that weakness again"
Elior looked up to see Seren smiling
Seren rarely smiled because of her past, but seeing her smile made everything feel worth it.
"Hey Elior, you need help with anything?" Seren said as Elior was walking away
"Ummm, never stray from your path…. I guess" Elior said as he walked away waving his hand in the air
"My path, huh"
As Elior made it to his own section of the field, he sat down for a second
"Guess I have not checked the status in a while"

Elior looked at the bomb in a box, the box was slightly protruding but he could not open it
The box was in a runic symbolic writing and Elior had no idea of decrypting it.
As Elior thought on it more, he finally resigning himself to fate
"Guess I have to ask him?"
Elior went to Professor Eldrich's office, he was marking the student's exams
"Oh Elior, how are you doing?" Professor Eldrich asked marking the papers
"I am fine"
"Did you come here to see your results"
"Ummm…. No sir"
Before Elior could give a reply, Professor Eldrich swiped his script to Elior to take a look
"You were actually the first student I decided to mark his script"
As Elior saw the script, the result was not what he expected at least

"You were the highest alongside Seren" Professor Eldrich said giving a genuine grin
"I'm flattered" Elior said smiling shyly
"So, what did you want to ask me?"
