He immediately took out the golden box given by Grindelwald from his money bag, "Speak! Is it you two ghostly things! Is it you who long to live in such a ghostly place!"
Inside the golden box were two of Voldemort's Soul Artifacts, the Resurrection Stone Ring and Slytherin's Pendant Box. Just like other wizards with obsessions who could choose their resting place after death, the longing of these two residual souls might indeed exceed that of a little wizard like him. No one knew what kind of judgment standard the Misty Illusion Realm had.
Facing Ian's questioning.
The two residual souls were both curled up in the deepest part of the Soul Artifact... Of course, they wouldn't respond, remaining beast-like until triggered.
"You even brought such things in here!" Helena Ravenclaw couldn't help covering her mouth in incredulous exclamation when she saw the Soul Artifacts in Ian's hand.
"I just sent Tom home; I didn't expect him to want to be the Dark Demon Monarch Zoro. He must see this place as his dream Mordor. Tom must have read 'The Lord of the Rings' when he made the Soul Artifacts!" Ian firmly believed that the blame for his current predicament rested solely with Tom Riddle, and his grumbling made a lot more sense than "disregarding the facts."
Aside from the existence of wizards, many other aspects of this world were akin to the world Ian originally came from, and 'The Lord of the Rings' was a work published between 1954 and 1955. It was famous not only in the Muggle World but also rare in the Wizarding World... a story based on historical adaptations.
There was a significant amount of fiction involved.
But certainly, it contained more truth than Lockhart's 'Magical Me'.
"Perhaps we could throw them directly into the volcano," Helena Ravenclaw abruptly suggested, her voice laced with thinly veiled anger.
It was clear the lady was exerting great restraint over her emotions.
"This is the Resurrection Stone, madam, and Slytherin's Pendant Box. I just want to get Tom out of it." Ian wasn't willing to waste two ancient treasures.
"That guy is such a vile scoundrel! He tricked my mother's crown from me, and I never expected him to choose such renowned treasures for his Soul Artifacts!"
Helena Ravenclaw was also somewhat astonished; she recognized Slytherin's Pendant Box but didn't expect the gemstone on the other ring to be the more legendary Resurrection Stone.
The Deathly Hallows!
A legend coveted by wizards for thousands of years!
"Damn bastard! What makes him have such good fortune!" Helena Ravenclaw loathed Voldemort, extremely resentful of his securing the Deathly Hallows.
"It's alright, his luck has run out."
Ian vigorously shook the items in his hand, trying to awaken the sleeping residual souls within. He still attempted to extract Voldemort's residual soul by hand but couldn't reach its location.
"Perhaps you should pray to the owner of this place?" Helena Ravenclaw, living a thousand years ago, came from a time when wizards were far more reverent to the gods, and her hatred toward Tom Riddle made her earnestly desire his divine punishment.
"The Fool of a different era, the mysterious master above the gray mist, the Lord who holds luck in black and yellow... I'll give you gold pounds; just help me get these two Toms out of here!" Ian muttered "prayers" that were obviously playful and meant to lighten the atmosphere, never having learned how to pray properly.
Besides, who would be effective to pray to, even if he knew how?
"I think it might be more fruitful to appeal to your mother. She once demonstrated to me catching Tom by hand, yes, the Tom hiding in your mother's crown."
Ian's words left Helena Ravenclaw thoroughly astonished.
However.
Before she could speak in indignation.
"If your study of souls is profound enough, you will find what I did isn't difficult," suddenly, a gentle voice arose not far away.
A woman with flowing long hair, dressed in a plain robe, crossed the Black Sea, traversed over the mountains, and walked gracefully towards them, her silver-glowing hair even more striking in this sunless land.
"Mother!"
Helena Ravenclaw exclaimed, her voice full of complicated emotions, entangled with anxiety and joy. She almost instinctively tried to hide behind Ian. However, given Ian's limited size and stature, he could not effectively conceal her, and the thousand-year-old ghost had no choice but to crouch behind Ian.
Sensing Rowena Ravenclaw's gaze, Ian tactfully hopped aside, leaving Helena Ravenclaw exposed, motionless like a startled bird.
She just squatted there, looking up at Rowena Ravenclaw, now standing before her, even more radiant and youthful than in her memory.
This perspective.
Was reminiscent of childhood awe.
"Mother... it is you... you have been here all along." Tears moistened Helena's eyes; she undoubtedly understood why a soul would linger in the Misty Illusion Realm.
"Helena, my child, of course, I would wait here for you. You were always afraid to walk through the night alone; how could I feel at ease letting you finish your journey by yourself?" Rowena's voice, gentle yet powerful, seemed to penetrate all barriers, reaching the depths of Helena's soul.
