Chapter 215 - Chapter 143: Not Even the Storm Can Stop It! Supreme King That Alters the Heavens!

Saint Polbra is not located on high ground; as a port city on an island, its chosen site is relatively flat, not elevated. Such a city is easiest for docking ships, and within the city, there's a division allowing seawater to flow in, with a sea railway inside for train stops.

But now...

The entire city seems submerged, water flowing everywhere, rising as high as half a person, flooding the city's streets and alleys, as well as the bustling sea train station.

All flooded!

The violent storm winds even stir the submerged waters into rapidly spinning torrents. Under this hurricane, roofs are torn off wherever you look.

And for those roofs remaining...

Sage looked out the window, smirking, "No need to search for targets, huh? The ones not blown off are all rich families."

The buildings with blown-off roofs are small two- or three-story residential houses, while those with roofs remaining are sprawling tall buildings and manors.

Don't assume that all seaside buildings are just small structures; with their strange building capabilities, making tall buildings is quite normal. Due to the vastness of the sea and varying heights, most seaside structures are notably large, and small constructions are rare.

But those who can build tall buildings are generally wealthy, especially those that withstand hurricanes.

Honestly, even Sage hadn't expected it to be true—like Lily said—that a city could actually be submerged.

This has two sides, of course.

The good part is you can start looting without wandering around aimlessly in the city.

The bad part...

It's flooded, making it hard to get in.

Sage downed the red wine in his glass, annoyed, "Why the hell did it flood? This is a city... Lily, why are you looking at me like that? You don't think I did it, do you?"

Lily moved her gaze away, her full lips opening slightly. Perhaps out of compassion or respect for the captain, she avoided a direct answer and said:

"Sage, if we retreat, we can come back for it next time."

If not for this violent storm, the city wouldn't have flooded... And it's not just the city, the edges of the island are soaked through by the sea like high tide.

And the storm...

If one were to say it's connected to Sage... well, you can't really say that; it's a natural phenomenon.

Yet, saying it has nothing to do with him feels a bit off.

Sage: "..."

Answer me directly!

What do you mean, retreating and there's a next time?

He leaves, and the storm stops?

"Next time? Like I'd wait overnight to rob!"

Sage stood up, glanced towards the window, and gritted his teeth, "I refuse to believe a mere storm can stop me from looting!"

Islands naturally withstand storms better than the sea, and upon reaching the port, the storm weakens somewhat; at least you can disembark.

"Ability User stay back, Renedia, Hawkins... You take three hundred men and stay with the ship, don't let it lose control. The rest, come down with me!"

He pushed open the captain's room door, walked straight into the wind and rain onto the deck, looking at the sea creeping into the city, sneering, "No matter the weather, I'll still rob!"

The violent storm left no ships in the port—not because they wisely fled after the storm was discovered. It's too late to escape; the absence of ships is due to wreckage visible in the currents.

Even the sturdy Death Star must be anchored under Renedia's ability to stay afloat; any other ordinary ship remaining would be surprising.

Though such an enormous pirate ship suddenly appearing should terrify the citizens, now...

No one can bother with it.

The rapid currents don't just flood; people caught unexpectedly were dragged by the water into the city, carried along the currents, uncertain where they'd end up.

And more people found ways to hide in buildings with torn-off roofs, huddling together, shivering.

Crash!!

As the high winds swept over, just as the Death Star docked, a tsunami-like wave rose from behind like a monstrous beast wanting to engulf the Death Star along with the port.

That tsunami's rise cast a shadow darker than the overcast sky, plunging the coastal side of the City of the Spring Queen into darkness.

The civilians lowered their heads, hugging each other tightly, closing their eyes, bracing for what looked like the apocalypse.

This kind of wave couldn't be stopped.

Such a massive tsunami, forming vibrations in the sea, could easily destroy towns, even islands if more powerful.

"Sage!"

Lily stared blankly at the enormous tsunami, momentarily stunned, but quickly snapped back.

Renedia's eyes widened as she instinctively increased power to pull the Death Star out of there.

Anyone seeing this tsunami, besides sweating, wouldn't have any way.

Even Hawkins, who divined no accidents this time, involuntarily stepped back under the tsunami's pressure.

Did that small chance happen?

Impossible!

Divination is not probability; it combines what might and might not happen into a so-called probability, not random. When he divined no accidents, it's the most likely outcome.

But now...

Struck by this tsunami, both man and ship would be lost!

"Get the hell out of the way!!"

As the tsunami neared the Death Star, Sage let out a loud roar, his fist clenched, Haki condensing and emitting black lightning, he struck the massive wave with a punch.

Boom!!

A huge hole was torn in the center of the tsunami wave, creating a massive gap.

Sage's punch stalled for two or three seconds, the temporarily depleted Haki was re-gathered on his fist, and he punched again.

Boom!!

This time, the wave with the massive gap, the part towering above the Death Star, was completely severed, losing its underwater connection, lost its power, and collapsed as a giant water mass into the sea.

The lower waves just nudged the Death Star, making it sway slightly, then vanished into the water.

Hum!

At the moment the waves disappeared, Sage suddenly raised his head, eyes glowing with a red brilliance, causing a momentary standstill in the world.

Wind, rain, rushing water, roaring waves—all seemed to pause in this instant.

Then, the gloomy sky inexplicably rolled inward, the violent storm gradually weakening, calming down.

The entire sky appeared oddly as if being rolled inward.

"Gulp—"

Hawkins swallowed with difficulty, his body trembling uncontrollably, cold sweat visibly streaming down even in this storm.

Supreme King!

Not aimed at them, but the power of the Supreme King still felt palpable.

The Haki Sage just released was terrifying compared to before!

Able to change the weather...

Could this truly be accomplished by the Supreme King?!
