In a certain sense, what Tonks is doing now is the same as what her mother did. Fortunately, this time she doesn't need to fight alone.
"This way, I'll take you there." After a brief introduction, Fred took them inside the house to find Tonks.
Next was George, and he brought familiar faces, Professor McGonagall and Professor Sprout, which Kael hadn't expected as he rarely saw them outside of school.
Especially Professor Sprout, Kael always thought she would never leave the school's greenhouse.
"Welcome, Professors." This time it was Sirius who greeted them. "Your arrival is truly a surprise."
"I'm surprised too." Professor McGonagall glanced at the house not far away, "I really didn't expect you to choose this place for the wedding."
"It was Remus who insisted," Sirius rubbed his nose, "because James said whenever Remus got married, he would come no matter where it was."
"Yes, you were always inseparable back when you were in school." Professor McGonagall's eyes slightly reddened.
"Those were my happiest memories." Sirius said, "Alright, come in quickly, Lupin will be very surprised; he always thought you wouldn't have time to come."
"Originally, we didn't have time, but Filius took over some of our work." Professor McGonagall said, "Remus is one of my favorite students, and for his wedding, I must witness it."
"Nymphadora feels the same way." Professor Sprout said with a smile.
"What about me?" Sirius, in a seemingly good mood, jokingly asked: "What's your impression of me?"
"If possible, I really wish you could be sorted into another house." Professor McGonagall blurted out, "That way, Gryffindor might have won a few more House Cups back in the day."
Whether intentional or not, while saying this, Professor McGonagall glanced subtly at George beside her.
"That really hurts." Sirius clutched his chest, though he laughed even more happily.
"Come with me, Professors. Remus will be delighted to see you." After Sirius left, George didn't hurry back but came next to Kael a short distance away.
"When I get married one day..." He tugged at his bow tie and said, "I won't play any tricks; I'll throw a party from morning until night. People can come whenever they want, join at any time, and leave when they wish."
"You'll have to get past Mrs. Weasley first," Kael handed him a chilled bottle of Pumpkin Juice, "She definitely won't agree to that."
"No problem." George took a sip of the juice, "I can cast a Full Body-Bind Curse on Mom until everything's over."
"In that case, remember to inform me in advance." Kael glanced at him, "So I can place flowers at your grave the next day."
"Well, she'd have to catch me first." George laughed heartily, "Alright, I need to instruct the band to start playing."
With that, he walked toward the largest tree nearby, where the wizard band was sitting smoking pipes; it was said to be a famous band, though Kael didn't remember their name and didn't recognize them.
There were fewer people attending this wedding than expected. By seven-thirty, all the guests had arrived, and most of them were familiar faces.
But they had anticipated this situation beforehand.
Tonks' mother was disowned early on by the family for marrying a wizard from a Muggle family, and one of the burned holes on the tapestry in the old Black house belonged to her.
Because of this, she hardly kept in touch with anyone she knew. Even if she did, those people wouldn't come to attend her daughter's wedding with a werewolf.
As for Ted Tonks, most of his relatives are Muggles, so it wouldn't be quite appropriate to invite them to a wizard's wedding.
Apart from them, the other unfamiliar faces Kael saw were Lupin's parents.
However, they arrived halfway through the wedding. The host was reciting the vows when Lupin suddenly dashed offstage, making Tonks think he was backing out, turning her hair red with anger.
It wasn't until she and the others looked in the direction Lupin ran that they discovered the couple who had arrived late.
Another wizard-Muggle pair, but unlike Tonks, Lupin's father is a wizard.
Lyle Lupin, an expert in Dark Magic Creatures, Kael had heard the name from Newt, and Newt spoke highly of him.
If Kael remembered correctly, he was about sixty years old, but he looked much older.
Hunched and white-haired, even the over-hundred-year-old Newt seemed more spirited than him.
Lupin's mother beside him was much the same.
At first, they didn't seem to believe that Lupin was getting married, thinking it was a prank until they confirmed it in person, finally unable to restrain their emotions, embracing each other with joyful tears.
However, Kael always felt something odd about their relationship with Lupin—not close but not necessarily bad—just a subtle distance typically felt among unfamiliar relatives.
