Chapter 653 - Chapter 323: Will There Still Be Miracles?

The Purgatory Sub-Dragon was incredibly irritable, if you were fierce, so was it; if you fought for your life, so would it.

Faced with the Black Dragon's mouth lunging for its throat, it directly stuffed its front paw into the opponent's mouth, twisting its body to bite at the opponent's throat.

A burst of red light flashed, and scalding lava erupted from the Purgatory Sub-Dragon's front paw, filling the Black Dragon's mouth and throat fiercely.

But the Black Dragon, emerging victorious from mountains of corpses and seas of blood, bit down on the molten lava along with the Purgatory Sub-Dragon's right front paw, shaking its head vigorously and tearing fiercely.

Red liquid spattered down from mid-air, indistinguishable as lava or blood.

"Roar!!!" The Purgatory Sub-Dragon howled with pain and fury, its sharp teeth biting into the Black Dragon's throat.

The Black Dragon, a step slower, also bit down on the Purgatory Sub-Dragon's neck.

The two Giant Dragons, like hunting crocodiles, rolled and tore fiercely at their target.

Dragon blood and scales flew.

The Black Dragon's throat seemed to have a layer of skin torn off, through the pulsating flesh one could almost see the windpipe.

As for the Purgatory Sub-Dragon, a large chunk of its neck was outright torn away, its wings spread wide, spiraling downwards.

'Run quickly, damn it all, I'll finish him sooner or later...'

The Purgatory Sub-Dragon conveyed these sentiments to Rhode, its figure gradually becoming illusory.

Ferocious as it was, the injuries it caused seemed more severe than the Mountain Sub-Dragon's, yet the actual combat time was shorter.

The Black Dragon showed no sign of stopping, opening its mouth to unleash a breath towards the Cloud Sub-Dragon.

The Cloud Sub-Dragon made a sharp turn in mid-air, and the Black Dragon seized the opportunity to approach.

When the Cloud Sub-Dragon attempted to accelerate, it was met with another breath from the Black Dragon.

The power of this breath was not as strong as the one used against the Mountain Sub-Dragon, but the Cloud Sub-Dragon dared not take it head-on.

Setting aside its own defense capabilities, there were so many people on its back after all.

"This won't work," the Cloud Sub-Dragon said urgently, "I feel like it's coming straight for us."

Everyone was puzzled: "What?"

"Look at him, when he saw you he was just playing around, but with us, his eyes turned red," the Cloud Sub-Dragon said, "That guy might just be more interested in his own kind."

Rhode frowned: "But when he came, you weren't even there."

"Not at first, but then we were," the Cloud Sub-Dragon turned sideways, dumping the people from its back, "Stop dawdling, we can't escape this way anyway, let's just try!"

"Hey!"

"Ahhhh..."

"This is too reckless!"

Everyone screamed as they fell from the sky, while the Cloud Sub-Dragon turned back, flying towards the Black Dragon.

Indeed, the Black Dragon didn't spare a glance for the falling people, focusing all its attention on the Cloud Sub-Dragon, baring its teeth and claws, intending to eliminate it too.

The Cloud Sub-Dragon already knew the Black Dragon's power and defense, adeptly flipping in the air, swooping under the Black Dragon to evade its pounce.

Then, blade-like gusts of wind shot from the Cloud Sub-Dragon's mouth, aiming for the wound on the Black Dragon's neck inflicted by the Purgatory Sub-Dragon.

The Black Dragon turned its body, letting the wind blades hit its black wing; the extremely sharp wind blades couldn't damage its wings, nor did they significantly affect its flight.

The Black Dragon quickly turned, its massive size perhaps less agile than the Cloud Sub-Dragon, but not lacking in speed.

It opened its mouth, trying to bite the Cloud Sub-Dragon's hind leg.

The sharp teeth were avoided by the Cloud Sub-Dragon, after which the Black Dragon immediately prepared a breath.

Dazzling white light sprayed out, the Cloud Sub-Dragon hurriedly turned to dodge.

But this time the distance was too close, the fierce breath grazed the edge of her wing, nearly causing her to lose balance.

The Cloud Sub-Dragon became more cautious, aiming to utilize her slight speed advantage to spar with the Black Dragon, delaying as long as possible.

Such a tactic was like dancing on a knife's edge, with the risk of unexpected incidents at any moment.

But facing an opponent that couldn't be shaken off, and could at best be lightly injured even with all efforts, what else could be done?

On the other hand, among those thrown off, Hapi, Carla, and Li Li spread their wings first, grabbing Natsu, Wendy, and... Reby respectively.

Originally, Li Li was supposed to grab Gajeel, but Gajeel casually handed over the little one to him.

Fried quickly wrote some words, sprouting black wings from his back, decisively grabbing Laxus.

Abandoned by Fried, Biguslo had no choice but to hover on his puppets.

Behind Ibarglin appeared Fairy Wings, reaching out to grab Elfman. However, Elfman sprouted Legion Wings from his back, also reaching to grab Ibarglin.

Realizing neither needed help, they blushed and released each other's hands, reaching for the others.

Lisana transformed into a large bird, gripping Jubia with one claw and Lucy with the other.

Jubia kept looking towards Gray, relaxing only when she saw him caught by Elfman.

Ibarglin caught Erza, then went after the President, while Elfman, with Gray in tow, chased Gajeel.

Rhode was unable to fly any further, but fortunately, Mira held him with one hand.

In her other hand, Mira held Kana, thrown to her by Kildas.

Kildas calmly fell for a moment, soon supported by Biguslo's puppets beneath his feet.

Laxus pointed to Ultear and Melty: "Fried, Biguslo, over there!"

"Understood!"

"Baby!"

With one person on each side, they grabbed Ultear and Melty.

Makarov hadn't usually noticed, but his guild had quite a few who could fly.

Splash!

The Cyan Engraved Golem and Crimson Marked Tree Monster plunged into the sea, splashing two waves, while the others slowed before reaching the sea, hovering above the water.
