The soft, unheard cat footsteps were thudding in the ground, the atmosphere killing Kai slowly as he suffered a brain freeze, an actual blank out. His mind was totally empty, but his eyes were darting around with his heart vibrating instead of pounding.
Fear filled Kai up, but he had no choice since he had no way to go and only one option: to go straight to the monster with no doubt, only his last option.
"This is my only choice; I'm going to try this. If I die, I die. So, here we go…" Kai said, fear running down his spine but trying to overwhelm it with the unknown bravery that he didn't have.
'So what's the plan, Kai? Think, try to come up with something before you become dinner for the day.' He forced himself to think; fear filled up in his heart as the wolf got close.
The wolf growled; its sharp teeth appeared under its nose. Its eyes were like burning inside, as they looked golden, and anger was mixed there, its intimidating look sending shivers down Kai's spine as he got scared by the wolf when it suddenly got ready to attack.
Its aura was a bit reddish, mixed with a bit of bluish. The look made Kai tremble inside his shoes; with no place to go, fear coiled over his body.
The wolf was now ready to attack, and Kai was also ready to execute his plan.
'Now or never; this is my only chance, and only 1 shot.' Kai silently said, bracing his body together, ready to attack the monster that was about to make him its meal for dinner.
Akirion ran towards the wolf, and the level 1 red wolf sharpened its claws on the ground as it deepened them down; every last length of them was sent down in the ground as it angrily growled, ready for running motion.
Before it ran two steps, living well in the ground, Kai unleashed a kick that sent the wolf in the air. It made a hissing sound as it felt a rib bending.
The wolf crashed on the wall in the hallway. Kai molded his face and made an intimidating look on his face as he angrily opened his eyes and teeth while those white teeth gritted, while rage blazed in his eyes.
He followed the wolf up, and he was ready to land another blow. The wolf grasped the situation fast, and it was ready for the second round. It showed its teeth as it growled, while its feet made holes in the ground as it dug out the hallway floor with its claws. It opened its golden eyes with anger as it approached Kai.
Kai was ready for an attack, but suddenly the wolf sent its sharp claws in front to stab Kai when he tried to get closer. That situation made Kai change his attack, and he barely dodged its attack.
The system suddenly popped up, and it showed some fearsome words.

'Damn, does that mean I'm dead in disguise?' Kai asked, his left hand rubbing his thigh as it got scratched by the wolf. His skin started to tear up blood as the wounds got more painful.
The wolf turned around, its eyes glued to Kai, its face showing anger and mischief. Only if it were able to talk, it wouldlaugh or underestimate Kai, or maybe ridicule him.
It now unleashed another attack on Kai, but his body felt heavy for some reason, and he wasn't able to run in his thoughts. Only the tiredness that his body felt made him think that he was a loser and a direct thought, that he was a dead man.
The wolf was now happy for dinner since it successfully landed its poison on Kai.
'Damn, I've become dinner, right? Since I don't have the antidote, that means I'll die. But wait, 75 minutes, and I've been poisoned within 2 hours, so I still have a big chance to kill it, and then it will be a mission success. After that, I'll then die peacefully and then lose one life since I have nine in this place!' Kai thought, and the wolf was right in front of him, its mouth wide open to land one last shot on his neck and make him become dinner.
Suddenly, a punch was thrown at the wolf, and the wolf found its way into the walls as it crashed when it flew. Instantly, Kai stood up and followed the flying wolf. When it impacted the walls, Kai was right on its tail.
He kicked its face, and it lost two big teeth while it flew again. The big explosion-like sounds were made by Kai and the wolf as Kai kicked the wolf to the wall, and in the walls was another explosion sound.
The fight continued; the wolf monster managed to scratch Kai with its fangs as it simply dodged Kai's kick and tried to grab the kicking foot, but it was too late to grip, and that's when it left a mark on Kai.
"Grrrr, you son of a…" The wolf charged against Kai, and this time Kai was late to make an attack; that's when he had to dodge.
He swung on top of the wolf, but it also jumped to try and land its teeth in his butt, but his hand saved him by holding its head down.
Suddenly, Kai got his energy drained in a blink of an eye. He only saw the room getting navy blue within a second, and he found his body going down. He was aimed to land in a two-meter place, but he just landed in the place two meters away from his marked landing spot.
The wolf crashed down 7 meters away as it got blasted away by Kai's drained power.
