Footsteps stomped on the ground as Akirion moved away from Sophia. The wolf's footsteps were silent as if a thief were about to attack.
Suddenly, Kai looked back, and a girl's voice echoed at the same time.
"Wait!" Sophia said, her eyes closed while she looked down, thinking that maybe Kai didn't hear her.
Suddenly, she felt Kai touching her head.
"Huh?" She gasped and slowly looked up; she saw Kai's hand right in front of her. She also realized Kai's face was glowing with a smile.
Her face suddenly turned reddish under her eyes. Her eyes were cutely opened as she glared at Kai.
"Come on!" he said, as he offered a hand.
She held his hand, and he pulled her up.
'Wow, what is this feeling? It's kind of good for some crazy reasons. Never touched a girl like this before, so that can be the feeling.' Kai thought as he pulled Sophia up, getting her closer to him.
She landed on Kai's chest, her face turning reddish, including her long ears. Kai stopped her from bouncing back by holding her back.
'Wow, so cute. My, my heart is thudding loud; she's going to hear it, but I can't just let her go while she's not moving away. And this feeling, it's kinda good, and I can't breathe easily.' Kai thought, his eyes a bit wide and yet lost, including his mind, but his heart was racing. His face was a bit red, a bit blushy.
As for the elf girl, she stood quiet, her breath crackling, unable to breathe properly. Her heart was racing while her face was ignited with blush; her cheeks got red after she felt a hand grabbing her back.
The wolf whimpered near Kai's boots. Suddenly, the two separated; Kai released Sophia and scratched his head. Meanwhile, Sophia reversed and looked aside. The two blushed as they looked away; they got scared by just a wolf whimper and left their romantic time in the middle.
Kai suddenly held her hand and looked at every visible part of her body. He asked her, saying, "Did those Kurobi hurt you? Are you hurt?" Kai urgently asked, his heart racing while his eyes raced too.
"No, I'm fine; I got no scratch and 1 question for you!" Sophia replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Huh? What is it?"
"How do you know their name?"
"What do you mean?" Kai's left brow quirked, a bit confused.
"You said 'kurobi,' didn't you? That name is rare, and many call them bees!" She responded, her hands pointing at the air, helping her since she was talking.
"But they are not bees though!"
"Yes, just that they resemble a bee, that's all!"
"Okay, as for Kurobi…" He sighed, and then he continued, "I guess I told you that I am another worlder, so my screen told me. Then I have a question for you!"
"Ohh, so what do you want to ask?" Sophia was all ears, ready for his question.
"How do you differentiate between another worlder and you guys since we all can get here?" Kai fired a question that was troubling his peace of mind.
"Ohh, that's easy. For us, there is a place to get here; if you want to live a happy, nice, rich life, you will have to first get rich through living in dungeons to get the money. So we were given some sort of a tooth or something like that to eat. Those things were created by the black hoodies, I mean mages." Kai gasped, his eyes widened, as he thought about those guys who attacked him during his first time in the soul world.
"The mages?" Kai asked in confusion and astonishment as he tried to recall those memories of the black hoodies.
"Yes, they are the top magic users who protect this world!" Sophia replied calmly as she stood next to Akirion, her hands folded.
"Ohh! So they are strong enough that they can kill the other worlders?" Another question flew to Sophia's ears.
"Yes, totally, they are far too strong!"
"Wow, which means I've no chance going against them!" Kai said, as he looked aside, his voice a bit lower.
"Hahaha, are you for real? Are you even from another world?" She teased Kai, as she already had information, but she wasn't able to grasp that reality.
"Hey come o…" Kai tried to stop her from ridiculing him; suddenly, he stopped talking.
Suddenly Kai got attacked by the unknown; the screen lit red for the first time, while it always lit blue.
It showed some glitching words that were almost unclear; he barely saw every single letter.
His body started trembling; his mind was like as if he was being stabbed on the inside. The pain was really hard to cope with. His eyes turned screen red while he screamed in pain.
Sophia and the wolf glared at Kai, who was in pain, unable to stand on his feet since he was moving backwards, his feet stomping on the ground, his knees bent as they trembled.

He gritted his teeth, trying to endure the pain that was slicing his brain apart. His eyes continued to be red, scaring Sophia, who had her gaze pointing at Kai, who was screaming.
She had her mouth opened in astonishment, and she acted as if she was feeling his pain. Her hand slowly went to her face as she slowly closed her mouth as she cried.

He then lost balance and went and hit the ground. His body clung onto the dirt, and he continued screaming, increasing the dust all over his body as he rolled around.

Everything got dark, Kai stopped screaming, and he lay on his back, his face pointing at the top.
"Kai, what happened to you? Kai…!" Sophia asked, her tears flowing down her face as she looked at Kai, who was looking dead.
The wolf whimpered, but Kai didn't move, not even a finger.
