Zod released the two hostages in his grip but didn't order his subordinates to release the others, still intending to negotiate.
"Have your subordinates release the others and have the Kryptonian spaceship weapons retracted and parked on the ground," Old Barry interjected.
The two hostages trembled as they landed.
"Get out of here!" Young Barry shouted to them, "We'll handle things here."
The two quickly fled to safety.
"Zod, if you truly surrender, I can spare the other Kryptonians. If they follow me loyally, they'll have a good future," Alex Rivers said.
"Why should I believe you?"
"You have no choice. Following me is your only option."
Zod was silent for a moment, then looked at Alex with determination, "We Kryptonians value strength above all. You and I will have a one-on-one fight. If you can defeat me within two minutes, you will be the new leader of the Kryptonians."
"I accept your challenge."
Zod addressed his subordinates, "All Kryptonians, listen to my command. If I die, release the hostages and follow the new leader."
He signaled everyone to step back.
Upon hearing Zod's command, the injured female adjutant and all the Kryptonians focused on this fate-deciding battle.
Once everyone moved back, Zod looked at Alex, who had been waiting, "So, you agree to this duel—defeat me with bare hands within two minutes, and you will be the new king. If I win..."
"If you win, then we will let you go," Alex continued, "But you are destined to lose—the Kryptonians will welcome a strong and capable queen."
"I sincerely hope so," Zod said, then moved to attack Alex—two minutes, 120 seconds. He only needed to avoid defeat in that short time, or it would all be for nothing!
Alex didn't back down, meeting Zod's attack head-on.
Alex's super brain had strong learning abilities. During her previous encounters with Zod, she had nearly mastered all his combat techniques.
Everyone saw two high-speed figures entangled in battle, making "bang bang" sounds, fiercely fighting in the air.
Time ticked by, and Zod's movements became erratic—Alex's strength and speed far exceeded his.
He was clearly disadvantaged from the start, trying to use his experience to drag out time, fighting while retreating.
Before dueling Alex, Zod thought it difficult to win, but he hoped to survive for two minutes.
However, Alex's offensive was relentless. She was much more skilled than before, her progress exceeding Zod's expectations.
At one minute and twenty seconds, Zod was sent flying, crashing near Kara.
"You lost!" Alex glanced at Zod, then at all the Kryptonians.
All Kryptonian soldiers lowered their heads, not daring to meet Alex's gaze. Kryptonians inherently worship strength, and witnessing Alex easily defeat Zod, no one questioned her power.
The Kryptonians put away their weapons, released the hostages, and their spaceships retracted weapons and landed, with everyone inside disembarking.
The female adjutant Faora looked at Alex with admiration. Alex's strength was immense.
With hope, she flew to Alex, hoping she would lead the Kryptonians into a new era.
Faora spoke first, "Faora and all Kryptonians pledge allegiance to the Queen!" She knelt respectfully on one knee.
"Greetings, Queen!" Faora and the Kryptonians knelt, pledging allegiance.
Alex looked at the kneeling crowd. She planned to arrange them in other universes when the time came, using them as enforcers when needed.
Alex slowly said, "Rise, I accept your allegiance!"
Seeing the battle conclude, Kara approached Zod—she wanted vengeance for her cousin's death!
"You killed my cousin, my only remaining family," Kara tightened her grip on Zod's neck, "Today, you will pay with your life!"
Zod was at his end, life ebbing away. But before death, he had one last request: "I hope... you can let Kryptonians... be reborn..." He used his last strength, looking at Alex, "I... have no regrets..."
"As long as they serve me loyally, although Earth can't be a new home, I can travel between worlds and find a new place."
Hearing this, Zod felt a weight lift—he was dying and believed Alex wasn't deceiving him. He peacefully closed his eyes, body relaxing, awaiting death.
Seeing this, Kara twisted his neck.
At this point, time hadn't exceeded two minutes.
Zod's body went limp, and Kara released him, letting his corpse fall—her hatred finally avenged, bringing relief.
"I'm sorry... I wanted revenge too much," Kara said, looking at Alex with a hint of apology.
Alex shook her head, understanding Kara. She had intentionally knocked Zod towards her.
"We will face this together," Alex said, patting Kara's shoulder, "You are not alone."
Kara nodded. Zod was dead, hatred dissipated—now, it was time to look forward.
"Faora, you'll remain the Kryptonian adjutant, as before," Alex said, holding Faora's hand.
"As you command, My Lord Queen," Faora tried to pull away, but Alex's strength was greater.
Alex then addressed all the Kryptonians, "Evacuate immediately and await my command in the space where Earth will be relocated!" She released Faora's hand, "When I'm not here, you watch over them."
The Kryptonians heard the Queen's command, boarded their ships, and flew into the sky.
Flash and Batman watched the ships depart.
"I'm glad everything is resolved," Young Flash smiled.
"Yes, it's resolved," Batman nodded, a rare hint of relaxation—but he worried. Would some in the U.S. clash with Alex? Would there be unforeseen changes after her and the Kryptonians' situation?
"I still don't know your real name—all we know is 'Superwoman,'" Young Flash asked again.
"Actually, we know nothing about you," Old Flash said, confused.
Kara looked over; they all had questions.
"Bruce is treating us. If you have questions, we can talk while we eat," Alex replied.
Bruce was confused???
"I know your superpower is money."
Batman Bruce laughed, surprised this Superwoman knew about him. It was interesting.
"Alright, come with me. Today, at my house, I'm treating."
"Eat and drink as you please—as long as you satisfy our curiosity," Bruce said.
"No problem," Alex smiled faintly...
