In Water 7, Kokoro led the Straw Hat Crew into a warehouse.
Before them stood a single-carriage Sea Train. Kokoro explained, "Let me tell you upfront, this isn't ideal. This train is called the Rocketman. It's a problematic model, can't hold many passengers, and has been stored here for years…"
"So cool!" Luffy and Chopper exclaimed, their eyes sparkling.
Sandy asked, "Grany Kokoro, the front of this Rocketman is pointy, like a shark's nose. Can I cut it off?"
Zoro added, "Same here."
Barry muttered, "Are you idiots?"
"Heh heh heh," Kokoro laughed. "The shark head was just for fun back then. You can't go around cutting it off."
Grrr… Luffy's stomach suddenly growled.
Sandy turned to Barry angrily. "Haven't you brought the food yet? If you don't, I swear I'll blow you away!"
Barry retorted, "Aren't you a little too arrogant, you bastard?"
Creak.
Someone descended from the train. It was Iceberg, who had left earlier alone.
"Uncle Iceberg?" Luffy asked, puzzled.
Kokoro said, "Looks like you survived, Iceberg. What are you doing here?"
Iceberg replied, "My being here means exactly what you're thinking."
He sat down and added, "It's ready. The train has been adjusted, water and coal added. It's currently building up steam."
Luffy smiled. "You prepared it for us, Uncle? Thank you!"
Iceberg wiped his sweat. "If you want to thank me, do it when you come back alive. No matter how much the steam equipment is adjusted, this Rocketman's speed can't be fully controlled. It's a failed product. Your lives aren't guaranteed."
Luffy replied nonchalantly, "Thanks."
Just then, Luffy moved a ladder, and the sound of wheels echoed at the entrance—it was the food!
As the package was opened, Sandy said to Barry, "Sorry for complaining earlier."
"…" Barry.
Pfft. Zoro spat out what he had drunk. "Is this alcohol? Why is it so salty?"
Nami snapped, "That's soy sauce."
The person who brought the food explained, "I was in a hurry, so I didn't check—it's all I could bring."
Luffy laughed. "Zoro, you're so stupid! You don't even know soy sauce…"
Zoro's face darkened. "Bastard…"
Pfft. Sandy took a sip, quietly thinking, "What is this? It's amazing!"
Luffy quickly grabbed the bottle and gulped. "Pfft, what is this sour stuff? It's killing me…"
"That's vinegar," Sandy said.
"…" Everyone stared.
After eating, Sandy noticed that Zoro and Luffy's injuries seemed healed. Just like that?
Sandy couldn't help but wonder if he should get cut himself to test his own recovery power.
He quickly shook off the thought. Sandy was not masochistic!
"Straw Hat Kid!" At the entrance, the Franky Family arrived.
Luffy looked at them, confused.
"Please!" Zambai, at the front, shouted.
"Take us with you! We heard you're going to Enies Lobby, right? Big Brother Franky was captured by Cipher Pol 9 too! We want to chase them, but we can't cross the waves alone!"
Kokoro cautioned, "Your opponent is the World Government."
"Who cares?" Zambai said excitedly. "We just want Big Brother back! Even if it costs our lives!"
"We beg you—help us, Straw Hat Kid!" The Franky Family shouted in unison.
Nami scowled. "Stop joking! Do you know how much trouble you've caused so far?"
Zambai knelt. "I know! But I still shamelessly ask for help. We just want to rescue Big Brother!"
"Hey, hey, you don't need to kneel!" Sandy said softly. "Is that unreliable guy Franky worth fighting so hard for?"
Luffy, after calmly observing, said, "Get on board, quickly."
"Woohoo!!" The Franky Family cheered.
"Wait, Luffy," Nami advised.
Luffy smiled. "It's fine. Hurry up."
Zambai added, "We don't need to enter the carriage. We'll cooperate from the rear—hook onto it and assist the departure. See you there."
Sandy muttered, "They're really in a hurry…"
He turned to Barry. "Did you arrange someone to meet us?"
Barry nodded. "Yes."
Even so, Sandy felt uneasy, especially with Luffy just hopping onto the train like that…
Kokoro had already begun adjusting the equipment, while Chopper and a shipwright added coal to the steam engine.
Never mind, things would work out once they got there.
After the Rocketman set off, the Franky Family used their special cannon to shoot huge hooks that latched onto the carriage.
But these were minor things. Sandy felt a thrill as he followed Luffy to the front of the train.
Kokoro warned, "Pirates, be careful! Don't fall off."
Nami replied, "Don't worry, those two aren't so easy to throw off."
Dark clouds covered the sky. The sea ahead was filled with surging waves.
Sandy felt a strange excitement.
"Luffy," he said.
Luffy turned, confused. "What is it?"
"Ahem," Sandy said, "This is a camera. Stand back and help me take a picture."
"Take a picture?" Luffy scolded. "Sandy! Don't you know this isn't the time for playing? We're going to get Robin back!"
Sandy rolled his eyes. "We won't catch up immediately. Don't be long-winded. When there's a lot of lightning around me, press the shutter quickly!"
Sandy stood at the front of the train, activating his Rumble-Rumble Fruit. Giant bolts of lightning crackled behind him, looking absolutely amazing.
"Hey, Sandy!" Luffy's eyes sparkled. "Help me take one too, hahaha…"
At the back, the Franky Family had no idea what was happening. Why were there suddenly so many lightning bolts?
It turned out the two at the front were taking pictures—using terrifying lightning as the backdrop!
"…" The Franky Family could only stare.
