"Stop fighting, stop fighting—we're discussing strategy now!" Sandy begged, covering his head.
Downstairs, now that the fire was extinguished, several citizens rushed up. The moment they saw Iceberg and Barry injured, hostility immediately flared.
"Pirates! How dare you treat Mr. Iceberg like this!"
"They claimed they didn't do it earlier—now they've been caught red-handed! What else do you have to say!?"
"Straw Hat Crew, you're surrounded! Surrender!"
"Mr. Iceberg! Mr. Barry! Hold on—we'll save you!"
"Calm down!" Iceberg shouted. "The Straw Hat Crew are NOT the culprits! We misunderstood them—the real criminals were someone else!"
The crowd quieted.
Iceberg continued, "Go handle the situation outside first. Leave a few people behind to assist the Straw Hats."
"But—your injuries—"
"Stop talking and do as I say!"
Luffy leaned in. "Sandy, you said you had a strategy? Tell us already!"
Nami snapped, "Stop being mysterious! If we can't save Robin, I'll beat you up!"
Sandy rolled his eyes. "Relax. Kokoro's already waiting for us. But there's one more crucial thing!"
"The most crucial thing?" Everyone stared.
"That's right," Sandy said seriously. "If I remember correctly… I HAVEN'T EATEN ANYTHING YET!"
Luffy immediately agreed. "Right! Right! That's the most important thing!"
Sandy asked, "Where's Sanji?"
Because of the massive storm, Water 7's magnetic field had become chaotic. Observation Haki couldn't reach far—Sandy couldn't sense Sanji at all.
Chopper replied, "He said he had something to take care of and left earlier."
"Forget it. We'll deal with that later. Let's go meet up with Kokoro…"
Iceberg, standing nearby, seemed to know what Kokoro intended. After giving some instructions, he slipped away alone.
When Sandy and the others reached the evacuation point, the wind howled. The seawater that normally filled Water 7 had receded completely, exposing a long, barren coastline beneath the city.
"Woaaah!" Luffy gasped. "Monster Granny! Where did all the water go!?"
Kokoro grinned. "Mmm-hahaha! When the tide recedes this far, you should know how terrifying the incoming waves will be!"
Barry muttered, "If waves like that hit every year… one day Water 7 is going to sink…"
Luffy scolded them, "Hey! This isn't the time to be amazed! Monster Granny! Sandy said you'd take us to that island—what was it?"
"Enies Lobby," Sandy added.
"Right! Let's go catch that Sea Train! If we're late, it'll be too late!"
Kokoro replied, "If you're prepared to die… follow me. Muhahaha…"
Meanwhile, after leaving, Cipher Pol 9 raided Franky's secret hideout. They captured Usopp and Franky—and then threw the Going Merry out like garbage, letting it drift helplessly.
Had Sandy known, he would have cut down every CP9 member on the spot.
CP9 had already taken Robin and departed on the Sea Train.
Robin sat quietly in the carriage, watching the scenery speed backward.
The steady rhythm of the train wheels echoed through the compartment.
After deciding her fate, memories flooded her mind—memories she never expected to hold so dearly.
She remembered the nightmare of the Buster Call.
The screams.
The flames.
The merciless gunfire that drowned out every voice.
After that day, she survived alone.
To live, she had to prove her value to others at every moment.
She had to calculate, observe, and fear betrayal—always.
Words like trust, care, and protection… had vanished from her life for decades.
Her days were filled with schemes, deception, and endless pursuit.
Until one day, she met a sunny young man—a foolhardy yet warm young man—who saved her in Alabasta when she was ready to give up on life.
That young man, unreliable but bright, gave her trust, warmth, and genuine smiles.
Then she met an even more absurd man—Sandy.
His strange way of thinking made it impossible to understand him normally.
He was ridiculous—yet always sincere.
Especially that day, when facing Aokiji, Sandy stood up and defended her.
He had walked into her life…
Into her heart…
Just like the rest of the Straw Hats, those companions who cared about her deeply.
As the Sea Train rattled forward, Robin stared at the fading coastline. To allow them to continue their journey, she accepted CP9's terms.
Warm tears slid down her cheeks.
Life with them had been so beautiful.
She wanted to travel the world, see different cultures, research history…
But she—Nico Robin—had no choice but to give all that up.
For her friends… she was willing.
Yet Robin didn't know that at the very last carriage, Sanji had already started to cause a ruckus.
Sanji, sitting at the back of the train, smoked a cigarette while plotting his next move—until he was discovered.
The suited agents shouted at him, but Sanji only curled his lip.
He couldn't beat that damned Sandy—but these clowns?
"Party Table Rotation Kick!"
"Brochette!"
Bodies flew everywhere inside the carriage.
Sanji lit another cigarette and sighed. "Couldn't you just pretend you didn't see me? Honestly."
Then his eyes turned into hearts.
"Miss Robin… I'm coming. Don't be too moved—you might fall in love with me…"
