Chapter 2 - Prologue —II

Years passed, and the once-empty island village slowly became populated again.

People settled there, businesses flourished, and the British King grew so wealthy that even words failed to describe his prosperity.

The village had everything — houses, markets, travelers, luxury —

**everything except one broken, half-finished house**, abandoned in a lonely corner.

And one day, **the girl stepped out of that ruined house.**

She looked around in confusion.

The deserted island she remembered was now alive with people, noise, and activity.

Time had passed… and she had grown.

Her clothes were torn, hanging off her body. People stared at her with shock and suspicion.

Frightened, she rushed into a nearby shop, where an old woman took pity on her and handed her a few old clothes.

The girl grabbed them and ran away.

Questions filled her mind:

*"How did everything change? Where did all the British soldiers go?"*

A sharp, painful hunger rose inside her — she had eaten nothing for years.

She begged for food, but no one helped.

Finally, she searched a garbage bin and found scraps of discarded food. She picked them up and began to eat desperately.

Suddenly, a drunken man appeared and tried to force himself on her. Terrified, she ran, but he cornered her.

At that very moment —

**Thunder crashed. Lightning exploded across the sky.**

A blinding white light engulfed the place.

Two **dark silhouettes** rose behind her —

They lifted the attacker like a doll and hurled him far away.

The girl gasped. "W-what… what are you?"

One shadow stepped forward.

> "Don't fear. We came to protect you.

> We want revenge — not from you — but from this village.

> Because *you are our sister.*"

The girl froze.

> "We were killed mercilessly by the commander.

> We drowned him… yet our souls still wander.

> Until we destroy the people of this village and the British behind it, we cannot rest."

The girl trembled.

"You… you are my sisters? And this is what the British did to us?

Then I swear — I will not spare them.

I will bring justice to all of us."

And so began the **Game of Death**.

## ⭐ The Village of Screams

The next morning, a dead body was found in the village.

Carved into the skin were the words:

**"CALL THE BRITISH KING."**

"Haaaaa—haaaa!"

The following day — another body.

Same message.

Panic spread.

People fled.

The village emptied again.

The British King finally rushed toward the island.

Before he arrived, villagers spotted the girl, crouched over another corpse, writing in blood.

Horrified, they captured her and locked her inside an old school.

Her shadow-sisters tried to enter, but a temple nearby radiated a sacred barrier that kept them away.

Days later, the British King arrived.

> "Who has done all this?" he demanded.

The villagers brought out the girl.

> "So this little girl terrified an entire village?"

> "Burn her alive."

As soldiers moved to tie her, she suddenly broke free, grabbed a shattered piece of glass, and plunged it into the King's chest.

He died instantly.

She was captured again — and this time, she was burned alive inside the school.

Thus ended the story of the three sisters.

Two found vengeance.

One was sacrificed.

*(What a story…)*

"Could such a village truly exist?"

Suddenly, a phone rang.

**Ring-ting-ring…**

"Hello…"

"Veer here — what help do you need from this detective?"

"Veer, my name is Stefan Rukel. A new mission has come for you.

Reach the DMN office immediately."

"Okay, sir. I'll be there in two hours."

The call ended.

Veer took his bike and reached the DMN office —

a structure disguised as a half-broken, filthy bathroom.

Inside, a worker scanned his face and handed him a bathroom key.

Veer entered, locked the door, and pressed the flush button.

A hidden elevator opened beneath him.

This wasn't new.

For two years, this had been his daily routine.

Thirty feet underground lay the real DMN headquarters —

a secret no one outside had ever discovered.

At the entrance sat Miss Rohini.

"Good morning, Veer."

Every agent he passed greeted him.

He walked into his cabin — usually empty —

but today something unexpected awaited him.

**Sir Jon** was sitting in his chair.

> "Veer, I've been waiting. Why are you late?"

"Sir, I think your watch is wrong," Veer said, smiling.

Jon checked and sighed. "Ah… my mistake."

His expression changed.

> "Veer, a very dangerous case has come in.

> Pressure is high. Only you can solve it."

Veer had never seen his superior so tense.

"Sir, are you… worried?"

Sir Jon's voice grew sharp.

> "Just read the file!

> If this case isn't solved, I might be transferred."

Veer chuckled.

"Then that means the case belongs to me, sir."

"Enough! Read it first," Jon snapped, then walked out.

Veer picked up the file…

and his life took a turn he could never have imagined.
