Late at night, S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, top-floor office.
The cold and alluring Black Widow stood ramrod straight in front of the desk, while Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury sat in his office chair, his deep single eye fixed on a report file on the desktop.
"Is this the intelligence result you gathered from your investigation?" Director Fury asked in a deep voice.
Black Widow quickly nodded: "Yes. At the school, midway through, although many things happened, this is the conclusion I reached through intelligence analysis."
"You've worked hard. You can go back and rest now," Director Fury said, his eyes lowered, glancing at Black Widow's bandaged arm, and waving his hand.
Black Widow nodded, then turned and left the Director's office.
In the office, only one person remained.
Director Fury opened the intelligence file Black Widow submitted. It was clearly the personal file and photo of "Vincent Prince."
He flipped through a few pages and then turned directly to the last page of the intelligence file.
In the last section of the personal intelligence file, it read:
After five days of in-depth investigation and personal analysis, the target, Vincent Prince, is—
An ordinary human, without any superhuman abilities.
Director Fury was silent for a moment, then finally let out a soft sigh. He tidied up all of Vincent's intelligence data and placed it uniformly into a drawer in his desk.
Director Fury did not notice that in the middle of the unread document, in an unremarkable everyday picture of Vincent, a small orange cat had appeared!
...Stepping out of the Director's office, Black Widow inexplicably exhaled.
Even she didn't know why she had concealed Vincent's apparent talent for increasing strangers' favorability.
Or perhaps, this was also due to her own favorability at play? Leading her to write intelligence data that benefited Vincent.
After all, that 'favorability-increasing' ability couldn't really be considered a superpower, could it? At least, it was completely ineffective in actual combat!
Black Widow convinced herself internally.
There's no way Vincent would be sent to socialize and resolve things when facing a powerful alien enemy, right?
Like a Date A Live scenario?
Black Widow shook her head, casting aside her overly strange and ridiculous thoughts... The next day, Sunday morning.
Vincent woke up to Wanda's wake-up call. He yawned, rubbing his short hair, which had changed back from silver to black.
The demigod mode's time was up.
Vincent hadn't slept until very late yesterday, constantly thinking about how to deal with the already lurking Apokolips forces.
Although when the sky falls, there are naturally taller people to hold it up, if Aunt Diana was among those taller people, how could he stand by and do nothing?
"Without being able to find Lorna. Now, the most stable powerful abilities I can obtain are Aunt Diana's demigod body, the three-in-one, Gwen's spider mutation physique..." Vincent muttered to himself.
Among them, the three-in-one was undoubtedly the strongest in actual combat! Its physical strength was unrivaled!
However, the three-in-one had a significant and obvious flaw: the combined malevolence of the symbiote and the bestiality of the Flerken would clearly distort Vincent's humanity as the dominant individual, making him dark and evil!
"Oh, right." A flash of inspiration suddenly struck Vincent.
What if one of the 'ones' in the three-in-one was switched to Aunt Diana?
That is, after he obtained the abilities of Venom and the Flerken, he would use the symbiote's ability to parasitize Aunt Diana.
Using Aunt Diana's divinity to suppress the symbiote's malevolence?
This bold idea seemed feasible, but Vincent wasn't sure if the demigod body and the symbiote, two completely opposing forces, would be weakened or strengthened when combined, and what form they would ultimately take?
Black Mythology Mode?
Vincent's eyes became increasingly resolute.
No matter what, if he faced Apokolips's alien campaign at that time, even if Aunt Diana intentionally didn't want him to participate, he would still let the Flerken Cub bite him to gain the ability to transform into the three-in-one, and then parasitize Aunt Diana for protection!
As Vincent thought of this and was about to get out of bed, a small orange beast shadow darted into the room.
"Flerken Cub, what's wrong?" Vincent looked down, curious, at the Flerken Cub that had scurried into his room and was now lying on his covered bed.
A trace of hesitation flashed in the Flerken Cub's beast eyes, and then—it opened its small, milky-toothed mouth and quickly bit Vincent's hand!
???
The young man's handsome face instantly froze.
Vincent had thought about it, but that was a measure to be taken under duress when the alien war occurred, not something to be used now!
And also, Aunt Diana wasn't even home right now!
Before Vincent could think further, the medium was established, and the Lord of the Retinue was triggered!
The two long-lost yet familiar abilities of the symbiote and the Flerken surged into his body. Vincent stiffened all over, his body immediately turning into a puddle of black liquid, softening onto his bed.
This was an unforeseen path; everything happened so suddenly.
The Flerken Cub looked at the viscous, moving black liquid nearby, held its breath, and then plunged in without hesitation!
Gurgle!
Vincent instinctively attached and parasitized the Flerken Cub. The orange fur on the cat's exterior rapidly turned black, its bones were strengthened countless times by the dual symbiote in that instant, its body swelled, shrank, swelled, shrank, and finally settled into the ultimate form of a black cat!
A pair of cyan beast eyes, flickering like burning flames, opened, filled with ferocity and cruelty!
Composite Vincent, unexpectedly made his debut!
..."Master..., huh?" Wanda, seeing that Vincent hadn't come out of his room for a long time, walked in again. The young man's figure was clearly no longer on the bed.
Also, the room window she hadn't opened earlier was now open a tiny crack, and the cold wind was whistling into the room.
At the same time, on the rooftop above.
A black cat lay on the water tower. Its face twisted and struggled for a moment, and finally, a hint of reason appeared in its beast eyes.
Fortunately, the symbiote Venom was still in a dormant state, and the Flerken had no intention of contending for control of the body, so Vincent still retained mastery of the body.
However, his humanity was instantly twisted and interfered with, his rationality plummeting to a very dangerous edge!
It spoke in a hoarse, self-muttering voice: "Flerken Cub, I need an explanation. Why did you do this?"
"Meow meow (Save... Starro...)"
The Flerken Cub's anxious consciousness appeared in Vincent's mind. Due to the three-in-one, Vincent instantly understood what the Flerken Cub was trying to convey.
The Flerken Cub, as a Flerken Cub.
It didn't even remember what its parents looked like. It only remembered that it seemed to have always been looking for an alien creature named "Starro."
The Flerken Cub had been searching for it on Earth, like a life goal. Even though many things were forgotten, only this memory remained.
Originally, it had no clues and could only wander around. Later, even after living in Vincent's home, it still hadn't given up on finding Starro's whereabouts.
Until today, it suddenly could vaguely sense Starro's spatial location!
"You want me to save it?" Vincent understood the whole reason.
The Flerken Cub knew that it couldn't save Starro from humans on its own, so it wanted to borrow Vincent's power. Since humans and Flerken couldn't communicate, it could only bring about the current three-in-one state.
