After taking down Bullseye, Xu Dan drove straight here.
He easily slipped past the guards and headed directly toward Kingpin's office.
Everything happened too fast. Their informants hadn't even had time to report in.
Bullseye had barely fallen before Xu Dan's car came speeding up to the entrance of Fisk Enterprises.
When Xu Dan appeared inside the building like a ghost, Kingpin was still... playing a video game.
The game was Warcraft.
Step. Step. Step.
Kingpin's head lifted sharply.After years in the underworld, he had faced more than his share of assassins—hundreds, if not thousands.Anyone who could reach him without a sound was no ordinary killer.
But he wasn't afraid. Not at all.Because in this building, he was the most dangerous man alive.
Yet when his eyes left the computer screen and landed on the intruder's face, his pupils shrank in surprise.
It was him—the man he'd been obsessing over!
All those useless underlings had failed to bring him in, and now the man had walked straight into his den.
"Oh? Isn't this the young and talented owner of the Antarctic Game Company?" Kingpin chuckled, his voice heavy with mock civility. "What a pleasure. To be honest, I've been meaning to meet the genius who made this game. I'm actually playing it right now."
Though his tone was polite, his right hand subtly gripped the scepter resting beside his desk.
It wasn't just a prop or an old man's cane.It was a custom-made weapon.Anyone foolish enough to think otherwise… didn't live long enough to regret it.
Xu Dan smiled, genuinely pleased.Even a cold-blooded gangster like Kingpin was hooked on his game — surely that meant it was a true cultural phenomenon.
"Then I should thank Mr. Fisk for supporting my company," Xu Dan said with an easy grin.
"Support?" Kingpin rose to his feet, slipping off his massive silver coat and draping it over his chair. His gorilla-like physique filled the room, every muscle taut beneath his shirt. "I'm just a humble free-to-play gamer. Haven't spent a single cent on your little game."
Xu Dan pouted. "Actually, if you top-up 999 credits, you get a special reward. For someone as wealthy as Mr. Fisk, surely that's nothing?"
Kingpin rolled his shoulders, his muscles flexing like coiled steel.
Xu Dan knew Kingpin was large — but seeing him up close redefined the word huge.What kind of genetics did this man have?Was he raised on bulls?Or suffering from some kind of giantism?
Still, Xu Dan didn't underestimate him.Getting hit once by a body like that could end anyone.
"Top-up 999, huh? What kind of reward?" Kingpin grinned.
"You'd earn the title Underworld Overlord — or maybe King of Crime. Sounds cool, doesn't it?" Xu Dan shrugged, smiling playfully.
The grin vanished from Kingpin's face.
Publicly, he was the billionaire owner of Fisk Enterprises.Privately, he was something far darker.A man whose real identity carried more crimes than anyone dared whisper.
Those who knew the truth were either dead—or served him.
And now this game developer had just said those words out loud.
Clearly, he hadn't come here for a friendly chat.Especially not after all the times Fisk had sent people after him.
"So… you've come for revenge?" Kingpin said, his tone icy. "Good. A man with a temper—that I can respect."
As he spoke, Kingpin lunged forward, scepter in hand, like a charging mountain.
The sheer force of it would have crushed any normal man.
But Xu Dan wasn't some back-alley thug.
He had come here today fully prepared.
Hidden against his leg was a gift for Kingpin — a forged steel blade.

The blade flashed free.
As the heavy scepter came crashing down, Xu Dan didn't try to block it. Instead, he spun aside in a blur and slashed horizontally.
Slice!
The razor-sharp blade carved a twenty-centimeter gash across Kingpin's torso.
For a normal man, such a wound would have meant an immediate hospital trip.
But on Kingpin's massive frame, it was barely a scratch.
He hissed in pain, glancing down at the blood. It stung, sure—but he'd endured far worse in his youth.
"Not many people know," Kingpin sneered, "that the rising star behind Antarctic Games is also a capable killer."
"Killer?" Xu Dan smirked. "Hardly. Just a little self-defense training, that's all."
"Ha! I can't stand that smug look on your face!" Kingpin roared, charging again.
Their first exchange had gone to Xu Dan, but Kingpin wasn't done yet.
Decades of brutal training had honed him into more than brute strength—his close-quarters skill was deadly.
Xu Dan stayed on guard.Steel blade against weighted scepter — finesse against brute power.
It wasn't a contest of equals.So Xu Dan didn't meet strength with strength.
He moved like the wind—slipping aside, dodging blow after blow.
But this time, Kingpin was ready. His attacks came tighter, faster, leaving no opening for Xu Dan to strike back.
Xu Dan's foot tapped lightly on the floor; he leapt back, landing gracefully atop the desk.
When he opened his eyes again, they glimmered—like a starry sky filled with blades of light.
It wasn't starlight.
It was sword intent.
The energy around him surged like the birth of a storm.
Kingpin froze, eyes wide. He swung the scepter with all his might, roaring,"You're a damn mutant?!"
Xu Dan didn't answer.
Time seemed to slow.
The forged blade in his hand shimmered faintly, and the world narrowed to the strike before him.
Kingpin's overwhelming pressure peeled away layer by layer under the invisible force of Xu Dan's sword will.
Until all of Kingpin's defenses—strength, arrogance, and fury—were stripped bare.
