Chapter 151 - She smiled helplessly.

On the Quinjet, Black Widow was preparing to provide precise sniper support for Rogers when the control panel suddenly displayed a hijacking warning.

At the same time, inexplicable rock music blared through the cockpit.

She smiled helplessly.

He was here.

Tony Stark had strict rules—he absolutely would not allow himself to fire on civilians.

No matter how accurate Black Widow's marksmanship was, she was still operating a fighter jet, and the margin of error was far too large.

"Clang! Clang! Clang!"

Titanium alloy slammed into the ground with crisp metallic sounds.

Iron Man raised the repulsor cannon, micro-missiles, and shoulder-mounted guns on his armor, aiming them all at Loki.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa—oh, oh, wow, wow, wow… you—elk—got caught!"

"Step… step…"

"Whoosh—"

"Whoosh—"

Loki immediately raised his hands and released Rogers.

"I don't remember offending this many people…"

"So many?" Iron Man disagreed.

Rogers, whose angle of view was opposite his, pointed behind him.

"It is a bit much…"

Tony turned around—and realized that what stood behind him was not empty darkness at all.

Instead, there were three imposing fighter jets hovering in the air—

And nearly a hundred sharp-eyed mutants standing on the ground!!

This was—

Truly—

"Alright… that is quite a lot," Tony admitted. The moment he turned around, even he felt intimidated. "Jarvis, why didn't you remind me?"

No wonder Loki was scared stiff!

With this kind of lineup, forget him—even if his reckless brother showed up, he'd be terrified too!

Speaking of that reckless brother—

Suddenly, a multicolored beam of light descended from the sky and struck the rooftop not far away!

The beam was like a divine sword cleaving through the heavens, illuminating the night like daylight!

It lasted several seconds before slowly dissipating.

Darkness returned to the world.

"What was that?"

"Alert!"

"Shh!"

Unlike everyone else's reactions, Loki now owed not only a getaway car—but probably even his pension.

With a thud, he accidentally dropped to his knees.

He was coming!

"Who is that?"

A figure gradually emerged from the darkness.

Though not yet clearly visible, the pressure it emitted was invisible and terrifying.

The first thing people saw was a hammer.

Then, illuminated by the fading light, everyone finally saw the man clearly.

A red cloak billowed behind him.

Though the outfit looked somewhat ridiculous, no one dared to laugh now.

He was the source of that light just now.

There was no such technology on Earth!

So—was he Loki's accomplice?

"Loki! You—truly disappoint me!"

Thor lifted Loki up as he knelt on the ground, facing him directly.

But to everyone else, those words sounded completely different.

Disappointed?

So they were accomplices!

None of the people present truly knew the God of Thunder, so this conclusion was only natural.

"Hey, buddy! Drop the hammer and get out of our sight!" Iron Man shouted.

So many people had gathered today—if the prisoner were rescued, how would anyone save face in the future?

"You want me to put down my hammer?"

Thor suddenly smiled.

Although he wasn't as discriminatory toward humans as Loki, he was still an Asgardian—how could he lack pride?

Moreover, Mjolnir was his most precious companion.

In all these years, aside from Odin, who had ever dared tell him to put it down?

Among the Nine Realms—

Who would dare?!

Thor weighed Mjolnir in his hand, preparing to fight Tony.

He intended to teach this Earthling a lesson.

But at that moment—

Whether it was the three fighters hovering in the sky, or the hundreds of mutants standing behind—

Every single one of them turned their gaze toward Thor.

Boom!!

That collective stare carried weight.

Thor felt himself suppressed by an invisible force.

Had his brother truly offended this many people?

Who could possibly withstand such opposition?

"Drop it. Now. Immediately," Iron Man emphasized again.

"Forget it. I'll give Earth some face today."

Thor took two steps back.

Only two steps.

And he still had no intention of dropping Mjolnir.

But for Thor, this was already a massive concession.

Seeing the opportunity, Iron Man instantly reconfigured the weapon on his arm, firing two iron clasps toward Loki.

They snapped shut like shackles, binding Loki tightly!

"Wait—what are you doing?" Thor panicked.

No matter what, that was still his brother—well, cousin.

Even a cousin shouldn't be treated like this!

"Arresting a criminal," Iron Man replied flatly.

Thor was stunned.

Heimdall had only told him that Loki's whereabouts had been discovered—he hadn't mentioned that Loki had caused trouble on Earth!

"Criminal?"

"He killed and injured seventeen of us!"

"Loki…"

This time, even Thor had no way to argue.

Fighting, brawling, even robbing banks—those could be smoothed over with Asgard's authority.

But murder—

Even in Asgard, that was taboo.

Asgard existed to protect peace across the Nine Realms—not to kill at will!

"Loki!"

"Huh? What—now you want to lecture me again?" Loki showed not the slightest remorse.

Hearing this, Thor fell silent.

At this point, Thor was still too soft-hearted, still thinking of his brother.

"Hey—you people—this is an Asgardian matter. We Asgard will conduct the judgment—"

His brother had killed people on Earth.

Thor knew the Earthlings would never let Loki go easily.

So he wanted to bring Loki back to Asgard for trial—if their mother intervened, perhaps the punishment could be reduced.

But before he could finish—

Several figures suddenly leapt down from the hovering fighters!

Black Panther.The Female General.Cyclops.Beast.Storm.Phoenix.

Along with Iron Man and Captain America!

And behind them—

An entire group of mutants!

This lineup—

It was already worthy of a third movie!

Who exactly had Loki killed on Earth—to offend this many people?

Sensing the abnormal power radiating from them, Thor had no choice but to reconsider.

In truth, Loki had only killed a handful of S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel.

He had no direct connection to most of these people.

What brought them here—

Were nothing more than Xu Dan's so-called "prophecies."

Xu Dan.

Thor's proud first friend on Earth.

If Thor knew this now, who knew how conflicted he'd feel?

"Sir, I'm sorry," Black Panther said calmly. "Given your attitude toward criminals, you'll have to come with us."

"Come with you?" Even though Thor had already accepted it in his heart, his mouth refused to submit so easily. "Do you even know who I am?"

"Yes," Black Panther replied lightly. "An Asgardian. Thor."
