Chapter 132 - Ch-132 The Chase Through the Tower of Justice.

On the top floor of the Tower of Justice, inside Spandam's office, Gojo and Frunkfreed, the elephant, stood opposite each other.

Frunkfreed had only one goal—to stop Gojo on the orders given to him by the now-escaped Spandam. As for Gojo, he looked at Frunkfreed as nothing more than an obstacle that needed to be dealt with before he could go after Spandam.

For a brief moment, the two stood still, facing one another in the wrecked office. Broken wood and shattered window were scattered everywhere, and the air was filled with dust and smell of blood.

Then Frunkfreed attacked first.

With a loud roar, Frunkfreed swung his massive trunk downward toward Gojo. The huge trunk cut through the air with terrifying force, creating a heavy whistling sound.

Gojo looked at the falling trunk of Frunkfreed and, without hesitation, easily judged the trajectory of the attack. His body moved calmly to the side, dodging the attack with almost effortless precision.

The trunk slammed into the floor with tremendous force.

Boom!

Large cracks spread across the floor instantly, broken stone rising into the air as the entire office shook from the impact.

But by then, Gojo had already closed in.

While dust still lingered in the air, Gojo appeared beside Frunkfreed's giant front legs. His black blade flashed once in the dim light.

Slash!

The sword cut deeply into one of Frunkfreed's front legs.

Before Frunkfreed could even react, Gojo turned his body in a complete circle, his movements smooth and fast, and made another slash across the other front leg.

Slash!

Blood splattered onto the broken floor.

Frunkfreed let out a painful cry as his huge body trembled. Due to the two deep injuries on his legs, he could no longer keep standing properly.

With a heavy thud that shook the room again, Frunkfreed was forced to kneel.

Gojo immediately came out from beneath Frunkfreed.

In one smooth motion, he bent his knees and jumped high into the air, almost reaching the ceiling of the office. Dust and broken pieces of stone fell around him as he dashed directly toward Frunkfreed's giant head.

At the same time, Gojo covered his left fist with Armament Haki. Then he further enhanced that same fist with Blue. A bright blue glow immediately appeared around his left hand, distorting the air around it slightly as the power of Limitless gathered there.

This is enough.

The next moment, Gojo's fist slammed directly into Frunkfreed's head.

Boom!

The impact was terrifying.

Frunkfreed's giant head was smashed directly into the floor, embedding into it with immense force. Cracks immediately spread in every direction across the already damaged floor, becoming larger and larger with each passing second.

Frunkfreed let out a weak cry before his huge body finally went limp. He was already defeated, nearly unconscious.

The floor beneath him could no longer withstand the damage.

With a loud rumbling sound, the broken floor finally gave way. Frunkfreed's giant body crashed downward through it, falling to the floor below, or maybe even further down.

Gojo did not care.

His Observation Haki was already locked onto the positions of Spandam and Fukurou, who had escaped earlier and were desperately running away.

Without wasting even a second, Gojo immediately dashed out of the destroyed office.

As he ran through the Tower of Justice, he took shortcuts—not in the normal sense, but shortcuts that he created himself.

Walls that stood in his way were smashed apart.

Floors were broken beneath his feet so he could drop down directly to lower levels.

Chunks of stone and debris flew everywhere as Gojo continued rushing forward in a straight line toward his targets.

With this brutal shortcut-taking method, it did not take long for him to catch up.

Soon enough, Gojo was only a few meters away from Fukurou and Spandam.

Fukurou also noticed Gojo rapidly closing the distance between them.

His expression changed immediately.

Fukurou suddenly came to a halt so abruptly that Spandam, whom he had been carrying, tumbled forward and hit the ground awkwardly.

Then Fukurou looked at Spandam and said,

"Run away."

Spandam quickly gathered himself up from the ground and shouted angrily,

"Dammit, don't you know how to put someone down? You almost broke my bones. And you don't have to tell me to run away. I already know that I have to run away."

After saying this, Spandam immediately started running away from there without even looking back.

Fukurou remained behind, shielding him and standing between him and Gojo, ready to block any attack that might come.

Gojo slowly came to a halt a few meters in front of Fukurou.

For a moment, the corridor became quiet except for the sound of Spandam's hurried footsteps fading into the distance.

Then Gojo looked at Fukurou and said,

"Seriously, why the hell do you have to make things difficult for me? Just let him die and live well. Why do you care so much about protecting someone who doesn't even know your worth? Even though I am an outsider, I can at least tell this much—he doesn't even respect you as colleagues."

Fukurou stayed silent for a brief moment after hearing those words.

Then he answered in his usual tone,

"He is our boss, and that is all that matters. His protection is our duty, and we have to protect him."

After hearing this, Gojo only shook his head lightly.

"How troublesome," he muttered.

Then Gojo reached behind his back and took out his sword along with its sheath from where it had been strapped in leather across his back.

The movement was calm and unhurried.

He then placed the sheathed sword at his left hip, fitting it into the opening in the leather belt that had been custom-made specifically to hold his blade.

After that, Gojo slightly crouched.

The moment he did that, the atmosphere changed.

A faint killing intent spread from him.

Fukurou's eyes narrowed immediately.

He could tell what Gojo was planning.

This was clearly a sword-drawing technique.

And from the intent Gojo was showing, Fukurou could tell even more clearly that Gojo was aiming for a one-shot kill.

The pressure in the air became heavier.

Even Fukurou could feel it.

Because of that, Fukurou also decided to use the strongest move in his arsenal.

Shave Iron Ball Technique.

Fukurou immediately started rotating.

At the same time, he activated Iron Body and used Shave together, his entire body becoming like a spinning iron ball as he shot directly toward Gojo at extreme speed.

The floor beneath him cracked from the force of his movement.

Gojo, on the other hand, calmly focused and covered his sword with invisible Armament Haki.

Then he disappeared.

For a single instant, neither of them could be seen clearly.

The next moment, both of them stood at a distance from one another, their backs facing each other.

The corridor became silent.

Dust slowly drifted through the air.

Gojo calmly sheathed his sword.

Click.

"This is the best respect I can give to a warrior like you," Gojo said without turning around. "You should be happy and content on your path to heaven or hell, wherever you are going."

After saying this, Gojo started walking away.

Behind him, Fukurou's body trembled.

Then, from his neck, a large amount of blood suddenly burst out.

Fukurou collapsed heavily onto the floor, blood rapidly spreading around him.

Clearly, it was only because of the training of his body and the toughness of his neck that he had managed to survive Gojo's sword-drawing technique.

Otherwise, his neck would have definitely been severed completely by Gojo's attack.

Soon enough, Gojo once again started chasing after Spandam.

It was like a game of cat chasing a mouse.

Spandam also saw Gojo approaching from behind, and panic immediately filled his eyes.

As he ran, Spandam started shouting desperately,

"Dammit, where are you all?! Come save me! Help me!"

His voice echoed through the halls of the Tower of Justice.

Kaku, who was on the floor below, heard Spandam's panicked voice clearly.

Then he heard Spandam shouting again,

"He said he is going to kill me! Gojo Satoru is going to kill me!"

As Kaku heard this, he also heard not only Spandam's footsteps, but another set of footsteps rapidly approaching as well.

He immediately understood that the other person had to be Gojo.

Without hesitation, Kaku used Tempest Kick toward the ceiling above him.

Boom!

The ceiling shattered apart instantly.

Pieces of stone and debris crashed downward as a large hole opened up.

Gojo, who had been running forward, immediately came to a stop as the floor in front of him exploded apart.

Then Kaku jumped upward through the gap he had created and landed directly in front of Gojo.

The two stood face to face.
